^^you cannot save everyone in the game...

you have to choose from kaiden or ashley in one of the missions.

:thumbsup:

Yea I was talking about ME2... :lol:

The prospecting mini-game is better on the PC version, at least you can move the beacon faster thanks to the mouse. On the 360 version it moves at a snails pace while you're scanning... :(

No its not any faster in PC ver, its even more PITA with a mouse cause the cursor moves at the same speed & you have to move your mouse a lot.

Still havent got it. Probably wont get to play it for another 2-3 weeks. New GPU by next week. Then finish ME 1. Then start with ME2. I almost settled for the 360 version but I figure I can hold out a little longer.

In the meant time, as usual, I hate everyone who has played it. Die bitches. Die. :chair:

It's not ideal even in the PC version but the 360 version takes it to a whole new level of frustration. Prospecting on the PC seems much better in comparison.

I got a shortcut for you then.

Instead of having the scan button pressed when you scan the planets....tap it slowly.

This along with turning the planet & moving the cursor forwards makes the scanning immensely fast.

And if you are scanning every planet then I'd recommend you not to do so as its a waste of time

Scan only Rich & Good ones...maal chaiye hume khali dabba nahi :panic:

Btw even I'll start my 2nd playthrough, but opposite to you my first playthrough was on 360 & now I am starting the game again on PC by importing my ME1 saves,

I'll play this game atleast 4-5 times more,each time with one of my 5 ME1 save games :chair:

Nothing's stopping you from getting the 360 version!

Yeah I kinda figured that out yesterday. And of course I only scan planets that are 'rich' or 'good' or when I'm falling short of elements for a particular upgrade. The mini-game isn't bad actually, it's just that they could have made it a little easier/faster. I like the research system otherwise.

Mass Effect 2 PS3 rumor resurfaces, thanks to source code

Mass Effect 2 heading out to the PS3 has always been one persistent rumor. But now that the game's been released for Microsoft's platforms, this cryptic message comes out on the Internet supposedly confirming the PS3 version. Is it for real?

Polish website Kikko posted on their site this message that was allegedly sent by a friend to one of their members:

[sFXGame.BioSFHandler_CharacterR? Ecord2]

m_nMaxRenegade=1900 m_nMaxRenegade = 1900

m_nMaxParagon=1957 m_nMaxParagon = 1957

m_srXPFormat=340881 m_srXPFormat = 340,881

m_srSpendTalentPointsMessageXBox?=348754 m_srSpendTalentPointsMessageXBox? = 348,754

m_srParagonRenegadeMessageXBox=3?48755 m_srParagonRenegadeMessageXBox = 3? 48,755

m_srSpendTalentPointsMessagePC=3?48753 m_srSpendTalentPointsMessagePC = 3? 48,753

m_srParagonRenegadeMessagePC=348?755 m_srParagonRenegadeMessagePC = 348? 755

m_srSpendTalentPointsMessagePS3=?348755m_srSpendTalentPointsMessagePS3 =? 348,755

m_srParagonRenegadeMessagePS3=15?3007m_srParagonRenegadeMessagePS3 = 15? 3007

I told you it was cryptic. For those of you who don't understand what that is all about (like me), these are supposedly fragments of Mass Effect 2's source code. Now, the last two lines in Bold contain the two letters and lone number that set off this whole rumor all over again: PS3.

Could this be pointing to a hint that ME2 was just a timed-exclusive after all? And now that the MS versions have been released, will we be seeing an official Sony reveal?

We have no answer for you, but digging deep into this will obviously be fun.

Already squashed.

BioWare's Chris Priestly replied on the official forum: "Unreal Engine is cross-platform, hence the PS3 code. This was brought up back in Mass Effect 1 days as well. Mass Effect is for the PC and Xbox 360."

Source.

It will happen at some point. I just dont see it staying exclusive but you might be waiting a while.

Like I said, it might just be like main trilogy remains 360/PC Exclusive, but other games in the ME universe may go all platforms. I.e: MGS Rising

or they can release a Triology Edition directly for PS3 :punk:

sounds too good to be true, but then, till it launch(if it ever launches-maybe2-3 years from now) nobody would wanna play ME1 :P

LOL they didn't label

going through the Omega 4 Relay as "Suicide Mission" for no reason.

Ohh something like an ultimate collector's edition would be awesome. :fear:

Anyone who knows what ME is all about would probably already be done playing it on PC/360 by then. But really it WILL appeal to a new audience who currently have no clue what they're missing out on.
