MarketTantrik
^^ I scanned enough to get the minerals required for the upgrades I wanted and left the side quests for after the suicide mission.
nash
^^ I scanned enough to get the minerals required for the upgrades I wanted and left the side quests for after the suicide mission. I fked up big time in that respect. Since I didn't mine a lot, I couldn't afford to upgrade the Normandy and so the Geth died during the cut-scene even before the final mission started. After that 3 of my squad just died like flies. Including Grunt

spindoctor
it's not humanly possible to enjoy the planet scanning... at least not in the amounts they expect you to do it to access all the side missions and upgrades.

Aftrunner
I am just being a total evil bastard in the second playthrough. Some of the one liners Evil Shepard delivers are superb. Oh also for maximum fun, download a different ME1 save game so you can see all the other stuff you didnt in your first playthrough.
Tyler
I know of a dudette who enjoyed the scanning. My Wife.. I give that part to her. I think it appeals to the whole maternal instinct of hers. She says its like a sonograph, you can feel the baby, it seems. I just hope that the whole baby thing stays in her mind itself /Shudders
