Mass Effect 2

All I need now is the Insanity and a couple of those "use X power to do X" achievements. Currently at 890/1015 (i think the Normandy mission added the extra 15 G).

I know I has started my current playthrough on Insanity itself. Gave up at Horizon. God damned husks and Scions kicked the crap out of me.... ::

:O

I swear Thane's face looks like Aria's in that figure. :|

Anyway, I'll be continuing this on the weekend. In my last session I actually started at 11pm until 8am in the morning. It's the longest continuous session in recent time for me.

The game is awesome. I am doing all the loyalty missions, and loving every bit of it. Loved the two citadel missions and tuchanka missions. Bioware has hugely improved the side missions. All of them are distinct instead of a copy paste job like in ME1. The combat is insanely fun. From the outlook it does look shooter, but you can't survive without using powers. And honestly, I hardly switched weapons in ME1, but here I like how each weapon is usable.

2 things that have me a little disappointed is the fact that there's no Mako. I can understand why Bioware kept it out after all the hate, but I loved it. You can't take such a sweet thing away (improve it if you will). I am glad we are getting hammerhead in march so we'll have something to drive. :good: And other thing is of course is related to Mako, that we have less planets to explore. I mean sure the game may have as much side missions as ME1, but everytime I landed on a planet I knew I was gonna see something awesome, which I miss here. I was doing Zaeed's mission and how I wish I was allowed to run out of mission area. (I know this wasn't allowed in Me1 too, but you get my point). So yeah, apart from these 2 complaints (hardly a flaw) the game is top notch. I just can't wait to get to the suicide mission.

The characters have a lot more depth too. Each one of them are given a lot of screen presence here (if that is suitable to say for game) and worth recruiting in your squad. In ME1 none of them had a backstory we could explore .. Wrex's and Garrus's missions were not worth doing. But here you really want to know about their background since each of it reveals and expands the story of ME universe. It's f**king awesome and very intriguing. I really can't move forward without doing these loyalty missions.

Oh and as for romancce, I am currently pursuing Miranda and Kelly.

Already had cheap sex with Jack.

. My next target is Tali, so Tyler watch me!!

I am taking all my time to finish this beauty. Will do another PT on PC after this. :)

Started playing with my ME1 Soldier Paragon two days back. Absolutely loving it!

The biggest thing that struck me was how streamlined everything is. I personally didnt mind how the Mako controlled and the in depth weapon customisation in ME1 but everything in this one feels so optimised.

DLC mission was such a great touch. I really felt the emotional impact that the mission was supposed to deliver.

Bioware, you are the best!
