Ne0
duuuuuuuuuuude. XP can be earned from side quests and small quests. Grinding is minimized to help with pacing - since there's no XP associated with killing enemies the player would prefer to complete the mission - which is a good system. Keeps the story tight. Dialogue tree in the fist ME was also pretty much a sham - it's an interesting implementation but actually choices are limited. DAO has more choices and they make a tangible impact. Try out the squad combat by mapping the left and right buttons and use them in conjunction with the bumper / face buttons. I found it incredibly fast and satisfying - no holding a bumper to select powers anymore. Powers were cast and combined on the fly most of the time. I just wish they git rid of the mini-games altogether. I'm actually liking the hacking and bypass mini games But I hate the planet scanning stuff. Thats a bore. But tell me, if i do a side quest will the xp be added immedietly i.e., can i distribute the squad points ? Or is it done only at the beginning of every main quest (mission) ? Noctis
You will get the exp when it is completed.
MarketTantrik
XP is earned only at the end of the mission, when you get the mission report.

Bulovski
Plot possibilities for ME3 Liara comes back in squad, and Shadow Broker plays an important part. Shepard's a complete bastid - he hacks, loots and tries to sleep with everyone. Bioware will not put a batarian in the squad - they are too fugly. The basic rule of any RPG - have players and squad members who are decent to look at - even Planescape had 'normal' squad members by the gameworld standards. When was the last time a mind-flayer became a party member?
Aftrunner
My biggest problem with the ending being so player dependent is that I am not too sure which characters we are likely to see returned as playable party members. Ideally I want Mordin, Tali and Legion to all be there but the ending generally means we will most likely get a totally new support cast.
