MarketTantrik
Insanity is downright frustrating at times. There are some battles that simply cannot be won, no matter what you do, unless you and your squad level up. The best advice I can give you is, save often so that you can reload and try out different tactics, but dont be reluctant to tuck tail and try other missions before returning to the one you get stuck on. Tyler
Insanity is truly insane when scions and collector drones attack en masse... I gave up while fighting them and had to switch back to Normal. The game was pretty easy up to that point.
MarketTantrik
^^ Yeah!! I dont even want to imagine how I'm gonna get past that battle. It was hard enough on Regular.

Karooo
Cant wait to see all the engine upgrades, hopefully they will use the BD space generously in the full game, as they did with DAO on PS3. , Bioware never compromises
dylanjosh
Some people tell me that Planet scanning is faster on the PC (the scanner moves the same rate as the cursor normally) Any truth to this?

Aftrunner
Not really. It just controls slightly better with the mouse. I just bypassed the whole crap and gave myself the minerals with a savegame file edit. f**k that artificial padding, if I wanted to grind I would play JRPGs. praveer
I found it to be quite a bit faster, its still not even half as fast as the mouse cursor though.
shockwave
I think they patched the 360 version to make the scanning faster.
Bulovski
You just give in to the boredom and your mind is telling you that it's actually faster. It's slow and boring as hell. I just got the planetary chart and went to the planets with missions and rich minerals. Screw the exploration.
KiranB28
guys i give up.cant find ME1 anywhere.i even cant get it on our very own TP. have no choice but to start ME2 i guess sucks! cheers. Do what i'm doing; skip playing the first game and WATCH IT instead. Granted I played about 70% through when ME1 first released, and having no intention of going back to play it again (I could never stand the optional Mako missions + I don't want to spend hours more on it before I dig into ME2), I chose to look up the storyline on YouTube and found something better... people have posted the entire playthrough (minus the running around + battles) in an easy to watch, sequential manner. Of all the people who have done this, I found this to be the best - video quality isn't the greatest but 1. it has subtitles, 2. his version of Shepherd is pretty default (doesn't look like a total douche). Here you go; start from Part 1 and enjoy (unless you're already playing through the first one). A great way to catch up to the story in a couple of hours:

Bulovski
Please don't do a youtube run of Mass Effect - this is not some point and click adventure game. ME has to be experienced first hand, some of the moments are poor awesome.
