Doesn't come close to some of the other games mentioned above. to each his own buddy. for me it's MGS series, i played them straight for a month without a break. then comes Mass Effect. Max Payne 1 & 2. GOW 1 & 2. KOTOR 1 & 2 - Bioware bioware bioware!!! 3. Bioshock - story does also include the setting and characterization - Bioshock all the way for the philosophy, attitude, setting, characterization and pace! 4. Dracula - dunno how many have played this one - a great setting and true feel of Bramstroker's dracula - plays like Myst though. 5. Halo Combat evolvved - need i say more about this one?? this is THE greatest among story FPSs - nuff said !! 6. GTA San Andreas - yeah, for me, i was excited how this guy's going to climb up in the ladder of crime. kept me hooked till the very end. this is a collection of individual stories and not one story. 7. Madmage Posted June 6, 2008 Report Share Posted June 6, 2008 I am very surprised thay very few people named Starcraft in thier choices.. It had a real awesome storyline. I resorted to cheats to see how the story would move forward *********************Spoiler Alert************************** Deus Ex- I had a lump in my thoart when JC Dentons brother dies in the helicopter. Warcraft too had decent storyline going for it. Another big surprise for me was that no one also mentiond neverwinter nights 1, that had a good storyline going for it too. I dunno if many of you have played this, but there was this game called Indian Jones and the FAte of atlantis. Over 10 years old game. Was pretty good then. Another kinda "campy" story line was that of Return to Castle of Wolfenstien.. no great shakes but was good fun though.. the whole idea of resurrection and stuff was real cool.. heh heh. Man no story can ever be as gr8 as this one IMO God of War 2: the Gods' betrayal and Kratos again coming back to the world of living from the world of dead Resident evil 2: the multiple endings and deep story plot. the mysterious character Ada. this was the first game in my life that got me concerned abt its story, and think abt its characters.its still one of the best ones for me. Resident Evil Code Veronica: the mysterious dual personality by a single character and exploring the bowels of the mysterious island was an awesome experience Metal Gear Solid: Les enfants terribles. no need to say anything more Metal Gear Solid 3: the emotional and touching story with appropriate plot twists make this game a fantastic storyteller.
