At a 'grassroots' level, what changes do you guys see happening if we have a new (Modi) govt.? I'm talking how do you feel your life would be impacted.

e.g. A colleague of mine said that his home state (MP) would get more support from centre govt being BJP as well, and probably set up IT there. If that happens, he would wish to move to an IT company with office(s) in MP.

In his interview with Arnab ...he mentions about how a robust and economically strong Kolkata could lift the surrounding eastern states as well.

I dont know in books what the plan is but his level of thinking about raising Kolkata so that it becomes economic backbone of Eastern India(like Mumbai is in west) sound very promising and fact is Kolkata's infrastructure has got people really interested...One of my friends in Coast Guard (resident of MP) is planning to invest in properties in Kolkata and infomred me how he is hearing about good projects coming up in kolkata and all. ofcourse lot of work is still to be done and with centre's help this could very well turn into Mumbai of East.

300+ is unrealistic. Have a feeling times now poll might just be the closest one.

249 is the lowest from their range for NDA as i said. Their Rajasthan numbers are especially laughable. 265 is their topmost number for Nda and i expect the number for NDA to be about 270.

Some of times now numbers are laughable.

They are showing 14 seats for cong in rajasthan i.e the maximum number of seats and 0 seat for Rjd in Bihar which again is amusing and a very weird prediction.

Exit Polls don't mean sh*t

They showed BJP a clear winner in 2004 & good numbers in 2009

........& squat

Yeah true.

EVM rigging can happen.

Btw Today's Chanakya gave NDA 340 seats.

They predicted 29 seats for AAP last year. ;)

Ever since BJP lost the elections despite "India Shining" and then subsequent Congress re-election by clear mandate, I have zero belief in exit polls. Anything can happen.

aye.

i too dont put any faith and belief in any exit polls. Better to read detailed analysis from respected journos wherein they speculate which party can win how many seats from where and give pragmatic explanations.

But still, exit polls are fun to watch. I dont give any respect to their numbers and yet watch em as its a hazy addiction :P for a couple days.

Am more interested regarding the possibility of any channel or media outlet giving a proper face saving reasoning as to how they messed up the exit polls that whey were not three days ago feverishly brandishing with pride. Dont think any would.
