Cheerio! thanks yaar... I dont know what best to do know. For a long time i had in my mind to go for a 5.1/7.1 setup...but even then i had thought this speaker will be hooked for day to day usage and will use 5.1 speaker only for specific games and movies and it wont be efficient from electricity bill POV to keep using 5.1 as day to day usage. Now i am thinking of getting the setup first ...may be i will be able to use the satelite speakers.. and get woofer fixed later on. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
playstation Posted March 8, 2014 Author Report Share Posted March 8, 2014 so the speaker works...it is the controller that does not let me adjust sound...where the i low the volume or increase it just does not take the response... but speaker works......what a beautiful speakers they are ...still so beautiful....oh god why did they stopped the manufacturing it....these are the f**king Best speakers in 2.1 ever..i may have not heard enough to say that but i can say this much it can easily match with every damn 2.1 speaker out there and out do it. No offence meant. A friend from serbia had suggested this speaker to me....and i got it after much trouble...till then i did not had much knowledge about it ..imported it from delhi. been with me more than 7 years now.... Ambar ...you need to hear it ....to believe it. trust me best ever 2.1 speakers. Go ask any mx5021 owners if you dont believe me.... . what it means to them...... Today is a sad day for me. An irrepairable loss. I feel like having lost a dear friend. My Altec Lansing 5021 has gone silent. I was trying out the Open Free software to play my mkvs and was jolted to find my speakers dead. I had never looked into any other speaker system ever since I bought the 5021. Only a 5021 can replace a 5021 but unfortunately Altec Lansing has discontinued it and the 6021 is not even half good as its predecessor (or so I believe from the reviews). So what else? I have to do a lot of research to find an equally good one and a THX certified at that. I too wasnt planning to buy it...i did not even knew about this product back then ...what had happen is i was building a computer as my old pc had gone very slow and wasnt working properly ...and i was kinda looking for a good speaker also ..he had just got mx5021 and was going crazy over it....i looked for it and no computer store here in kolkata had it...i traced it to distributor in delhi and he informed about the price as RS 9k plus Rs 500 for shipping...within my Rs 20k pc (excluding monitor) budget it was too expensive to go for just a speaker which cost about 10k(specially when computer speakers were as low as Rs 500-1200 creative,logitech etc) but this friend convinced me to just go for it...and i dont know what happen i just called the distrbutor again and took the bank account details from the distributor ...i still thank that friend. anyways...hope my next sound system is gonna be worth it as well...
