Star Lord
btw i am now leaning towards the frustating side of the car combat....as the game coming to an end its is reaching a level of frustration when it comes to batmobile combat....too much yaar....specially the Cobra tanks...makes no sense that i have to hide and sneak behind them and fire....its funny that even after upgrading to level 3 my weapons i can only destroy them when i fire after sneaking behind...stupidity hai aur kuch nahi... ahaha lmao
playstation
You are exactly at the point at which the game broke me and I never ended up going back. I hope i finish it...actually though i don't see why i won't.....other aspects of the game are still quite good....
Tyler
I hope i finish it...actually though i don't see why i won't.....other aspects of the game are still quite good.... Exactly, I liked almost everything apart from the forced tank battles, especially the ones towards the end. The game looks fantastic as well, it's pretty much how I've always pictured a dark, rainy Gotham as. Also after the Manbat and Joker jumpscares I was terrified of grappling up buildings throughout the game lol.
Heaven Angel
The story and the hand combat made me complete the game otherwise I lost my temper at the GCPD tank fights. I usually play the game on hard so I could take only 2 hits max and there were gazillions of tanks there.
Big Boss
So why play on hard if that affects your enjoyment of the game?
Tyler
I've found that not all games are tuned for harder difficulties, if anything it just hampers enjoyment and makes the whole experience frustrating as hell. Most games just increase enemy damage numbers, decrease your damage output and resistance while not balancing any of it properly. This isn't a comment on the Batman games per se but just games in general. Only a few games get difficulty levels right. I like playing on hard as well but only if the game is correctly tuned for it.
quixote_1989
So why play on hard if that affects your enjoyment of the game? Something I've always wanted to say to a lot of people here It feels like, for the most part- Bragging Rights > Enjoyment
Big Boss
Yeah. Bragging rights maybe. It sounds hilarious though.
Heaven Angel
So why play on hard if that affects your enjoyment of the game? There's nothing like bragging. I just like to play games with some challenge that's all. For this game the overall gameplay was fun, those stealth missions and combat variations but only the tank missions were getting annoying towards the end of the game because of the repetitiveness. Hard mode is not for everyone I can understand but playing a game on hard or toughest difficultly available is different and getting all the achievements even tho using a glitch method is somewhat might be called bragging.
Max Pain
Have you completed The Perfect Crime side quest? It's my favourite side quest in the entire game! Try that one.
Tyler
The side missions are actually very good. I highly suggest not skipping them.
Max Pain
They are better than main missions.
playstation
I am also done with the main story...like just 4% is left....i think final battle is left.... Side quests are definitely very good...no doubt. Finished Man-Bat and Firefly one already and saved Catwoman also....rest of the sidequests still on... The bringing of Barbara back to life was really not a good idea.....i did not even how he manage to do it?.. use to think Scarecrow toxin pus in fear but can he control that fear as well ...like show a person whatever he wants to show them..... I did not find GCPD final batmobile battle any much different thanothers...it was not as difficult as other battles...i finished it in second try only....though thanks to guys who recommended batmobile to be upgraded... Anyways almost to the end and game is feeling drag on now....you reach oneplace and think its about to finish then another place ...it is going on for sometime.... last few boss battles has also not been any good.... Still though side quests are pretty damn good ...

What I did is was very much relied upon my hacking powers, my batmobile was fully upgraded by that time but I used to hack the sh*t out of enemy rocket launchers and tanks for a major distraction. A single mishit would cost my life so I had to be 100% accurate.
playstation
Finished the game...only side quests left. Overall a decent game but batmobile toh sach mein kafi use hua hai.....and CObra tanks were real PITA....it is worse thing in car combat i have seen..still batmobile otherwise is fluid to control and only had they made balanced use of it...this game would have been even better. Game does not deserve so much hate though....Its still a good game and has some moments with highs occasionally with some lows... A good game that everyone must play atleast.... Tyler
I don't think the game is hated. Sure some people didn't enjoy the Batmobile stuff much but most will agree that it's a decent game overall. The PC version however was one of the worst launches in recent memory and got most of the hate. It was so broken that WB decided to pull it from Steam until it was fixed.
