^ BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

So basically none of the platforms is going to get a decent treatment. Next-gen is stuck at 900p-30fps and PC is being handled by UBISOFT Kiev.

Lol more than the console gamers I actually feel bad for the PC gamers. They have upgraded to high end specs yet PC versions are being held back by consoles due to some stupid parity clause. Where was this clause last gen? Seems to be the case of" Agar hume full HD ni mil sakta to doosre ko bhi ni Milne dengue"

What? PC version is not held back by any parity clause. The game actually has PC exclusive effects. Go back a few pages to check them out. Only thing is Ubisoft Kiev sucks so we are worried about PC port optimization.

Does it matter? Why is this resolution this a big deal? I can live with it.

No arguement gameplay is more important and I believe this game can deliver it.

Not this gen bro. Those days were gone :(

And lel this game might deliver anything except gameplay.

maybe if you started the series from AC 2 but anyone who bought AC 1 day 1 knows knows how bad it was.

I didn't & I'm fully aware of the performance issues regarding AC (ps3 ports of most AC games are horrible anyway, see Brotherhood). But for all the claims of dat lengthy dev cycle re AC:III, dat optimization, dat new engine, it was not upto the mark at all.

I second that

Resolution in itself isn't a big deal. It's the dev's statement about maintaining parity that is the deal here. Its a perceived gimping on one console because the other might not hold up.

It's like 2 brothers buying cars. One a Ferrari and the other a Maruti. The guy with the Ferrari is told he cannot drive above 100kmph because the guy with the Maruti cannot keep up.
