Bas yehi bacha tha copy karne ko. Ubi is leaving no efforts in trolling POP

Duuuuuuude AC will never reach the glorious levels of POP, like ever.

Well apart from AC2 that is

AC lifetime sales are way more than POP ..it's a much much bigger franchise now...

Comparing sales of franchise of different generations .... If POP 1,2,3 never existed and released only now instead of AC , POP would also be huge franchise. Even classic POP is very famous , but if you compare sales it wont be as much as PS2 era POP.

Next thing you know , Transformers ,Marvel and all are the biggest movie franchises ever because they got more money than movie franchises in the 80s,90s.

I just think they shoud've sold pop rights by now to someone else. f**kers have absolutely ruined the franchise and haven't a clue what to do with it.

@ Razpor: Your opinion mate. Personally I dont think apart from AC2, any other game comes anywhere close to the storytelling and atmosphere of SOT & WW. Maybe maybe AC1 but thats it.

Agreed but ubi is taking AC to POP level now.. POP was fun but they suddenly crashed after POP (2008)

Nothing much to tell, to go with

While AC they have bigger story to carry on and want to blend POP in it.

^ Play the original POP and SATF DOS games if you can , they have some good challenging platforming sections. Or you can try the recent HD versions of them.

Yeah Forgotten sands was a blatant cash in and I despised it, but even then it had really cool elemental powers which made for some interesting gameplay. Story however was utter shite. SOT trilogy as shadoken says was a trendsetter and I quite liked POP 08 too, it had potential for a really really good sequel if you played the epilogue but ubisoft completely ignored it.

Anyways enough OT/ranting from me <_<

DOS pop is the best pop and I think its not made by ubi :punk:

Sands of time triology is nothing special, prefer god of war in PS2 era. And IMO AC series is lot better plot wise. The platforming in AC 2 and ACB where you try to get artifacts is unmatchable. Sad they didn't keep up. POP torally lost it after sands of time.

Dahaka, Kaileena, platforming, great story, that dark theme, those dual sword combats, and that final cut scene in the ship all made Warrior Within the best game of the trilogy.

not to forget those awesome dialogues "I am the architect of my own destruction" and "You had your chance to take me; you won't get another." It was a memorable experience for me.

Can't decide between the the 3 PoP games, all three (TFS, TTT, WW) have something uniquely special to them.

Never played the 2008 one, so dunno how it measures up to these classics.

I think TTT takes the top spot for me. Its got some shitty sections (the chariot races for example) but by and large the platforming is fantastic, the combat fun and the writing is acceptable. SoT and FS are a close second. WW is decent too.

2008 is pure dogshit.
