Nvidia partnering on Assassin's Creed: Unity, Far Cry 4 for PC

Ubisoft has extended its partnership with graphics company Nvidia to cover all of its major upcoming releases. Included in that are Assassin's Creed: Unity, Tom Clancy's The Division, Far Cry 4 and The Crew.

Nvidia's GameWorks team previously worked with Ubisoft to help polish the PC versions of Assassin's Creed 4 and Watch Dogs , with graphical tricks such as TXAA anti-aliasing, horizon-based ambient occulusion, DX11 tessellation and Nvidia PhysX

"We're excited to continue our long-term partnership with Ubisoft in bringing our latest PC technology to their games," Nvidia exec Tony Tamasi said. "Through GameWorks, we have been able to add unique visual and gameplay innovations to deliver amazing experiences for these stellar Ubisoft games. I can't wait to play them myself."

Assassin’s Creed: Unity development led by Revelations director

Assassin's Creed Unity development is being led by the creative director on Assassin's Creed: Revelations, according to a new report.
GameInformer reports that a since-deleted tweet from Ubisoft Toronto's Jade Raymond revealed that Alexandre Amancio is once again back in the driving seat for the upcoming next-gen adventure. Sure enough, a cursory glance at his LinkedIn profile reveals that this indeed appears to be the case.

An interesting couple of pictures emerged from E3, showing a group of four assassins printed on a giant banner used by Ubisoft to advertise the game just outside the expo’s venue.

This seems to point in the same direction as a rumor emerged a while ago, indicating that a four player co-op campaign would be showcased during a demo at this Electronic Entertainment Expo.
