Infact, when I went back to COD4 after a while, the maps felt so clausterphobic and the game sessions so incredibly short.

The thing thats got me hooked on CoD4 is the incredible rush it creates when you are in rhythm and racking up killstreaks. This is sadly missing, or at the very least, quit muted for me in BF:BC.

The only time I faced lag was a day before the demo went live on XBL and the next day and that was mainly because of EA getting ready for the heavy rush for the demo.

After that, things were back to normal, with EA taking care to set up additional servers for the demo for lag-free gaming.

I was playing the demo till it was stopped and then purchased the game cause i was so addicted to BF BC and what I can comment is that 9/10 times the online experience is lag free, its really gud and i am only using a 512 Kbps connection with an upload speed of around 30kbps to be precise.

and most of the time i play with firangs and till now i did not have the opportunity to play with u guys.

i think the online experience will improve a lot if all the players are from one particular region for ex. if we all play together sometime.

plz forgive me if i am wrong in any way as i dont have any technical knowledge ... i am just expressing my first hand feelings.

thanks :O

I am quite surprised MT that you are facing lag, especially when you have a 1Mb connection. I have a 256kbps Sify which is always gives red pings in COD4 but it's completely lag free in BF:BC. I suppose it has to do with having different ISP.

And sify is pretty bad as far as reliability is concerned. I'm using a lowly 256 BSNL unlimited connection and rarely (if ever) face lag. Just try dropping out/into a new game.

As far as game mechanics go, have you tried conquest mode?
