My feelings about Ps3 and Gt5p

I bought my Ps3 on 6/6/08 ansd it came with a free copy of Gran Turismo 5 Prologue.

 

A little introduction first,i was a pc gamer and enjoyed playing games on the pc but i was tired off the fact that you had to upgrade your system every two years and then various other problems occured (can't seem to explain it very well,hope you understand it,ok will try), for example you are playing call of duty 4 are badly hurt and running to cover while the terrorists are shooting you and suddenly phtoosh! out of the way the game minimises and we are on the desktop with an annoying popup (ststing many things such as antivirus has updated successfully , ****.exe was prevented from accessing the internet(can't get any good examples)).

 

As said earlier i got a free copy of Gran Turismo 5 Prologue with it,so say the least before buying a Ps3 i hated all simluation games(tried RACE and il-2 sturmovik(air-warfare) but hated both of them and promised to never buy a simulation game again in my life but as i was getting Gt5p free so i couldn't go wrong.

 

To say the least, i loved this game and i most probably would have hated it if i had played it on my pc.(Reason below)

 

The graphics are amazing and if you leave the damage ,the game is almost life-like, i kinda liked the way you could adjust the amount of acceleration and turning(unlike pc where it is either on or off)and thus it created a more life-like feel and hence i loved it even more.I loved the game and have broken my aforementioned prominse and decided to buy GT5 whenever it is released.

 

I also noted many people commenting that it was a sort of paid-demo ,but if you got the prologue out of your mind it seemed to me a complete game.

 

Now,for the lovely system.

 

This was my first console after the NES and i loved it,it looks uber-cool and performs even better.

 

The game required an install of ~10 minutes but that didn't bother me as i simply waited for that time by looking at the beauty i played the game for about 2 hours but then i had to go to sleep.The next day i played Gt5p and after about half an hour the controller was fully charged and i continued playing sitting anywhere in the room.Since then have been playing like mad.

 

Also,i am not much of a racer and my best time on the daytona oval was 47.211 seconds (stock) with the ford gt90.(It's the best car i have || Hope it isn't bad) and 45.343 seconds at first try with quick-tuned gt90.

 

These were my feeling about Ps3 and Gt5p.
