:surprise: I was scolded by a mod for discussing exactly this about a year back. :samui:

IVG has double standards :harhar: or times are changing :drunk:

Its not like the PS3 game sharing, that was OK until Sony said its not, so we said its not. Nothing's stopping you from exploiting other loopholes.

Game sharing was being abused earlier, that is why it was against the rules.

Now that it is being touted as a #NEXTGEN 'feature', so is okay.

Ohh, now i can clearly say that I've bought digi pro edition on PS3 for 4k. Shared it with a friend and thus the supposed 7K edition of PS4 costed us 2K each. :D

Got driveclub for 1100 and First light for 700 by sharing. This gen I'm going complete digital. ;)

One just need to find someone who you can trust with your account details.

It has added limitations

Sharing is now same on PS4/360/One

Which limits you to play with the purchasing account on the second system

So like if I buy a game on my main PSN account (on my imaginary PS4) and share with you, then you will have to login to my account to play it? You cant just download it from my account and then play it from your PSN account on your PS4?

You have to deactivate your account from your PS4. Then your friend need to log in from your account and set it as primary on his PS4. He can then start the download from loggin in from your account and then log out and use his account. Downloads will continue and he will never had to log in from your account. You account just need to be there as primary.

And you will log in with your account on your PC but you should not set it as primary.

Only downside is that you need to be online to access the games while your friend doesnt have to. I hope this explains.

What we'll have to do is

Make your account(from which you regularly play & bought the game) "Primary" on my PS4

It will be a "Secondary" on your own PS4

It will work on all my accounts...hence I'll be able to play from my usual account

You can only play it from your own account & no other

Leading to both of us playing the game simultaneously from our main accounts

No

Thanks for the detailed explanation both of you. :)

And the bolded part majorly sucks if true. So if my net isnt working then I cant access those games cuz they are on my secondary account?

Also what if these 2 people decide to part ways? Say me and AnK, so he can just deactivate my account on his Ps4 and i can make it a primary on my own Ps4 and settled?

Yes bold part is true and Yes if you decide to get a divorce and part ways, you can make your account primary on your PS4 again and then you can access your games without internet access too.

Thanks...

So this is sort of a hindrance but still great if you can find someone you trust and buy games at half price for the entirety of this gen.

God how I miss the 5 people sharing team with no limitations- days!
