DAT IDIOT!
This game is getting very good reviews. Anyone getting this game? Gamespot review=8/10 IGN Review=9/10 I have intentionally put this thread in the News Segment as no one is posting any PSP games in the PS3 Games section. Also, a request to the mods to create a new section for only handhelds. One section should be good enough to cover both DS and PSP.
CarbonCore
You can post PSP games in PS3 games thread. I was gonna put Chains of Olympus there.

MarketTantrik
Started this game last night. Its a bonafide masterpiece, probably the best game on the PSP. Level 5's unique take on the mythos creates a compelling setting. The visuals are enchanting and the quality of the anime cutscenes is probably better than many of the mainstream animes out there. The gameplay is top notch, with the added bells and whistles of Jeanne's "gift" lending a nice variable to the battles. Its also very handheld friendly, with in battle quick-saves if you need to shut the PSP and go somewhere, allowing you to pick up from where you left off. Beautiful Cannot recommend this game enough for PSP owners and RPG fans.
Noctis
This is a great game. Only complaint was that the AI was a bit average and thus made the game too easy. But otherwise a must play srpg.
KeezNah
You know what REALLY made the game easy? Those stupid magical armlets. f**king 5 characters had that stupid sh*t and made the game cakewalk for me. The optional sidequests are way tougher, but require more grinding. Level 5 should've just tossed that ultra power mode out the window, or at least kept it to a SINGLE character. Something! The idea of Burning Auras, though, were okay. Because at least the enemy could do that too (I think).
MarketTantrik
The 5 magic amulets make sense in light of the story. You will need all five to take down the Fiend. BTW: I am just two areas into the game, so no spoilers pliss.

KeezNah
edited my post, sorry for the leak The 5 magic amulets make sense in light of the story. You will need all five to take down the Fiend. in the context of the story, sure, but it still makes the game way too easy. it also doesn't help that defeating any enemy in a single turn will grant you ANOTHER turn (which doesn't consume an amulet orb or whatever its called). So you can effectively take out tons of fodder, ad nausea. Couple this with Burning Auras, and it's a broken system. It's a fun game, but it doesn't hold a candle to Disgaea or War of the Lions Speaking of the plot, what is the deal with Colet. All of his dialogue is in wishy-washy sterotyped French, but most every other character in cutscenes already speak with a heavy French accent he is a really useful character, level that bitch up
CarbonCore
This is a great game. Only complaint was that the AI was a bit average and thus made the game too easy. But otherwise a must play srpg. Really? Well I had to grind like crazy to get through certain levels. But otherwise an amazing game, and it only gets better as you progress further. The idea of Burning Auras, though, were okay. Because at least the enemy could do that too (I think). I don't think enemies could use it, at least I didn't see one. MarketTantrik
I did have one complaint though, about the voice acting. But that only lasted till I heard the voice acting in the Just Cause 2 demo with its Haitian pr0n stars and what not. *cringes*

But otherwise an amazing game, and it only gets better as you progress further. I think it might have to do with the characters you were using. Some characters are really powerful while some others are very weak, and this is not very clear at the time most join. And you could exploit the enemy's stupidity in some way in many of the missions. Either the game is very easy compared to those like FF tactics or Disgae.

Thanks to those who made this thread and kept the discussion alive; i'm officially going back to it now to try and dedicate more time to it
