kmkaks Posted July 16, 2015 Report Share Posted July 16, 2015 Sht n**** The same happened to me.Most of the net was like "STAY BEHIND THE BITCH" I tried that and she used to do the hand sweep attack You could try a NG with Saw Cleaver or Cane and see if its easier you just have to fight Papa G since hes mandatory and you get to face VA. thing is without killing VA you cant progress in game Worst part is I use Saw spear which has 20% serration damage too. How did you kill her? for my 1st play through i used 2H Axe,Basically doing a charge attack or the combo where the axe is stabbed right after she finishes an attack animation,on the legs,hit her enough on the legs and she falls over for 2nd playthrough i used Cane in Whip for for 20% serration dmg,Only this time i was playing it overtly safe and not agressive in any case use fire paper before landing hits Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Dude, have you tried using numbing mist? use that immediately when she try to heal herself. and/or FIRE is very effective on her, take Fire Paper with you and Oil urns + Molotovs .. Ne0 Posted July 17, 2015 Report Share Posted July 17, 2015 ^^ LOL, shadow of yarnham was the hardest fight in the entire game for me after Martyr Logarius , I almost gave up on the game .... all this talk makes me wanna quite Witcher 3 and go back to playing bloodborne on NG+ BTW, I'm having around 250000 BE's from the first game, and just started on NG+, I wont get the ability to upgrade until i defeat the cleric beast .... where to spend the BE's on ? It does feel great doesn't it? Anyway go on ahead and don't let the others scare you. I told you, it's a personal experience. You might just find the other bosses very easy (I know after BSB, I found all the other bosses until Logarius very easy and till Logarius every boss was max 3-4 tries). Anyway, you are tight, there is no need to horde Blood vials. You have I think a limit of 999 (or is it 600, I don't remember) and the 20 will be replenished every time you die. This was harder before the current patch, when you could only have 99 vials and had to grind again and again later if you ran out. Anyway, after Monday, I will be a little free so I will upload and share any vids of my NG bosses if you need help (I did not save some boss vids so there I might not be able to upload, but I did save maximum amount of boss videos). Anyway, just for your info. but if you had been stuck in VA, you could have gone left from her door to reach the optional Hemwick area and come back to Amelia after completing that boss. Ne0 Posted July 17, 2015 Report Share Posted July 17, 2015 started on NG+, going with the BT / SKL build this time around (burial blade + evelyn) .... decided to pay a visit to the chalice dungeons which i completely skipped in my first try , at 10+ and level 81 the first 2 layers were a breeze .... onto layer 3 now , lets see ! I felt the design was not up to par as some of the other boos fights just because of that. Its too hard if you try to play legit , and its too easy if you cheese them out with the giant tombstone.
