Ne0
Yup that's the place. I tried isolating few of them and then fighting. The combat is so much fun! Thanks will try using alternate paths. Not my style Sent from my XT1562 using Tapatalk BB is not designed to play with that style like taking on a mob singlehandedly, this isnt ninja gaiden.... When you encounter a mob, just run past them, hide, isolate and take them one by one - I feel the game is designed around one on one encounters ! Prateesh
Bought a ps4 few weeks ago, this game being the primary reason for it. The game reminds me a lot of DS1 because of all the original and unique setting. Though i liked the areas in DS3 a lot, in BB they are just much more interesting..All the secret areas are tricky to find and have their own set of bosses and stuff to do. The bosses in general didn't give me much trouble.. But the ones that gave me the most trouble are Ebrietas with it's bullshit charge attack and Orphan of kos with everything he does.. Ebrietas made me put down the controller and i came to defeat it after Gherman but I am yet to defeat orphan of kos. Though i haven't played Demon souls, this guy has to be the one of the most troublesome boss if not the most troublesome..You get somewhat used to his first phase but in his second phase he just goes bat-sh*t insane with very little openings..The guy has insane amount of HP, does tons of damage, is insanely fast ,can't be staggered easily and can fly in his second phase. They should have just added another orphan and made it twins of kos and be done with it. So the bosses that are left are Orphan of kos and the one that comes after Gherman. Also some bosses in chalice which i am not keen on doing as it's definitely the most boring part of the game. In general really loved the game, though i don't see myself playing it multiple times like i did with other souls game. Maybe another playthrough with a skill oriented build. Maybe another playthrough with a skill oriented build. You know I thought the same thing after the first playthrough but eventually BB became my most played Souls(like) game. No matter what anyone says there is quite a bit of build variety in this game and although the weapons might be fewer they're far unique than the weapons in the Souls series. Personally, I didn't find Ebrietas that difficult, mildly annoying but not hard. Generally takes me 2-3 retries. Can anyone lend me their Bloodborne skills for a week? Well you can pick them up yourself in a week. Just jump into it, take it slow and don't get frustrated with deaths. Learn gun parry and enemy behavior. It's not a complex game. I will pick it up during the summer sale and seek your help when in trouble! It was also my very first Souls game and I already played it for 6-8 hours long ago, found some shortcuts (where these huge rats reside) and also faced Cleric Beast 3 teams, but failed to beat him in the last minute (forgot to take blood vials). I hope I complete at least 60% of the game so that I can finally call myself a pro gamer. Edited May 29, 2017 by The Panda
Tyler
For a series newcomer, reaching the Cleric Beast is a learning in itself so good job. If you're new to the series the biggest advice I'd give is - don't be afraid to die and lose souls/blood echoes. It's pretty much a game mechanic. You have to do it one step at a time. Exploring levels, opening shortcuts, reaching a boss, upgrading a weapon are all some kind of progress. Bosses are a test of what you've learnt. It's always the first couple of areas and bosses that seem like the hardest but once you've had a few victories the confidence boost will help you go further and you'll just look at dying as a minor inconvenience.

After defeating Ook no other boss comes close for me in terms of difficulty..He kinda reminded me of time when i had trouble beating Ornstein and Smough as DS1 was my first souls game. He is just one of the most well rounded boss in any souls game, if it wasn't for him i would have said DS3 bosses gave me more trouble than BB.Though i am not looking forward to fight him again with any other build . My problem with Ebrietas was her charge attack, it was more annoying than anything. And i def agree on the weapons part, the weapons in general are very unique but my main motivations for other souls game were to make builds for PVP, and i don't see myself paying for ps plus for this game, hence not enough motivation for new builds..That and i have the habit of rushing games when i play on PC but in this case i took my time to explore almost everything. At the moment I am trying to clear these chalice dungeons to get Platinum for this game and if i missed anything i might go for them in my other skill oriented build. Also i have also found the enemies that i detest the most..The giant shark monsters in the well in Fishing hamlet..Screw those guys.
Heaven Angel
Just started it. Amazing atmosphere and looks fantastic. However, it runs very strangely. First time noticing the framerate issue. Was really enjoying it before headache started to kick in due to unstable framerate. How to use boost mode? Or is it automatically enabled? Thanks!
