didnt save it. but just as you come down the stairs take a right u turn and there should be a note. ring the bell on it and an AI controlled npc comes to help you if you met him while going from cathedral to old Y and agreed to co-op during the dialogue. best part is he doesnt die in the fight while real players could.

the fight itself is quiet simple except for the 3rd leg where the boss goes nuts, just throw a pungent blood item and the beast will be attracted to it, go close and inflict damage.

so after some umpteen no of deaths , was finally able to come back one full circle to that light in yarnam central :-/

Well atleast now I'm able to take out that big a*s axe wielder in 3 swift moves ! Got a bloodstone gem from him and unlocked a trophy as well YAY :clapping:

How far is the first boss fight from the left gate ? And how to awaken the abandoned doll ?

edit: btw, the enemy drops in the game are totally random .... that axe wielder gave me 3 vials once, next time he gave me a gem .... :scratchchin:

Co-op is fun but super laggy

At times frame rate drops to 10-15

Also in boss fights the boss sometimes just moves in disappearance

The graphics & fast AI obviously takes it's toll but still they need to patch things up

Yup, they will patch it. Even Dark Souls (and 2) had MP issues at launch.

That's the reason I haven't started Chalice Dungeons even though I have lots of chalice materials. Will wait for next patch before starting them in co-op. Patch should arrive before weekend.

Hey Keano, What level do you think is good for finishing the Forbidden forest area? I am level 40.

Currently have a lot of echoes (around 40k) and don't want to lose them. Don't have anything else to buy :/

40 should be good enough, i actually played forbidden woods before old Y.

I am lvl 52 and sh*t scared to go though it.

The first area itself has like dozen snipers, and later areas have those giant axe wielding ogres patrolling in pairs, not to mention those fking snakes from Indiana Jones. And unlike other areas, the run from lantern to boss through shortcut is not safe at all. You will waste at least one vial while getting back to the boss area.

More than anything, its the snakes that creep me out. :fear:

The game has so many paths so many ways that it is just mind boggling :surprise: But if you dont find the correct path you are gone.Astounding game and level design. Didnt knew this series is such a Jewel :first: This is Gaming at its Best. That long path to Blood Starved beast is so scary man.f**ckin Scared to go there.

Also this takes quite a toll on ps4.Uses all its Juice.Very heavy on ps4.

How many of you have taken the long path :naughty:
