I asked around and came to know that you have to log in every time you want to use the internet. The issue is, I have a ps4 too, so if i open my pc and login, and then start downloading something on the ps4. Then shut down the pc. Will the download stop? The log in can also be done from the ps4 afaik. so if i shut down my ps4 will the internet stop working on my pc? HELP! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Big Boss Posted May 4, 2014 Report Share Posted May 4, 2014 No. Internet won't stop working on either device. The login lasts for 24 hrs till any device using it is on. kanbad Posted May 4, 2014 Report Share Posted May 4, 2014 Remember one thing. It will take a lot of effort to work with a router. Atleast with netgear. I have 2 different models and they both act differently when reliance wire is plugged in. Sometimes it is a real pain. However if you plug wire directly in your pc then it is very good. It used to make the power of Reliance cable go off and the engineer had to restart the main box which was installed in my building. He said that is happening because they are detecting a virus So I stopped bothering with router and used my laptop/desktop as hotspot using Virtual Router. It worked absolutely fine.
