megzworld
OOh Sad. It was scary though.. The race last evening was truly gripping and challenging in all ways.
theneurotoxin
Incisive analysis of the effect of track temperature on the performance of the top 3 — http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/formula_one/14363956.stm . Great read.

theneurotoxin
Tickets for the Indian grand prix go on sale on August 20th. Pricing to range from 6k to 35k apparently. Hmmm, the bottom's way too high and the top way too low.
achilles
35k may not be too bad. Includes the full weekend right?
theneurotoxin
Yes, normally, the top end corresponds to F1 Club weekend access.

achilles
Sweet: Seems like a plenty fast circuit w/ decent overtaking points. Also, kinda reminds me of the Shanghai circuit http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qbnGH4XeqfQ&feature=youtu.be Edit: Is that you driving MT? MarketTantrik
Holy cow!! I love that straight after turn 2. f**king awesome
theneurotoxin
The track's more than twice the normal width at some points — maybe they're expecting some stray cows. Turn 10,11,12 complex is the place to be as far as I am concerned.
MarketTantrik
The track's more than twice the normal width at some points — maybe they're expecting some stray cows. Yup. The HRTs, Virgins and Lotuses.

Joy
Nice , start is exactly like Barcelona , then the turn 2 is a hair pin right turn and then long straight like Bahrain , too early for DRS. Good track overall , pity the full track wasn't driven in the vid.
devil_angel
So, who are all planning to turn up at NCR for the GP?
arv95
Airtel is the Title Sponsor of the 2011 Indian Grand Prix http://www.indianexpress.com/news/airtel-is-title-sponsor-for-indian-f1-gp/833852/
theneurotoxin
The ticket portal is live. No general admission zones, incomplete spectator facilities and all the good stands are overpriced as compared to Singapore GP. Thanks but no thanks. achilles
The north premium can be good, and decently priced (all premiums are 12.5k). It's not showing up for purchase though for now. I'd catch it anyway, even if I have to pay for the grand stand. Don't want to miss this. Someone please comment on what would be the best places other than the grand stand. IndianF1 on twitter suggests turns 3, 4, 10 & 11. @ Vandelay, elaborate on incomplete facilities pls..
