ΨΨ babloos ΨΨ
anyaway come to monoco we will no about mclarens pace moreover who ever wins the pole position has gone on to win the race at monoco since overtaking there will be very tough only kimi has won the monoco gp in current ferrari & mclaren team Edited May 12, 2008 by babloos
Pyrotek
The ferrari is clearly the fastest car out there. The margin is debatable perhaps, but in sheer out-and-out pace, there can be no question. Kimi was MILES ahead in malysia. The Ferrari duo were equally eons ahead in Bahrain and Spain. Don't forget that the Safety car in spain basically destroyed the margin that Kimi had built to the pack, otherwise he could have easily ended up FAR, FAR ahead. Turkey was where mclaren adopted an entirely different strategy and decided to basically run on fumes to generate the kind of pace that the ferraris were generating when running heavy. So no, mclaren are still nowhere close to ferrari this season. And barring a calamity in every race, its going to stay that way.
KWC
I'm still laughing at Alonso though....eheheheh
@di231189
Ferrari is quicker due to there Aerodynamic strength though the Mclaren strategy was good it wasn't going to bring lewis in 1st.And rightly said Lewis overtook just because of lower fuel load he made 3stops i think.Still my money on ferrari to win the next race. I heard the French GrandPrix circuit has been taken off from the F1 shedule.
MightySkate
^^At a test track yesterday Lewis set the best time. But it's just a test session though. As for the Magny-Cours track in France it's still on course for this year's season but sadly won't be there for 09. The French organizers are hoping to build a new track closer to Paris ready by 2010 to get more crowd attendance.
Pyrotek
Bit of a see-saw again, isn't it? Kimi went fastest on day 2. So it looks pretty even for Monaco. Today's test session will be interesting too. I believe teams are going to try their montreal setups. So guesses for canada can start now as well. Let's see if Ferrari have improved this time around. Their pace at low downforce circuits was woeful last year.

Pyrotek
^^ At this point, I agree. Another interesting bit of news is that Karun Chandok who drives for the iSport Team in GP2 finished third in yesterday's Monaco feature race. (His team mate Bruno Senna won BTW). So a good result for our next big Indian F1 hope. Edited May 24, 2008 by Pyrotek

ΨΨ babloos ΨΨ
Massa overhauls all his rivals, taking pole by less than a tenth of a second between him and kimi . The Brazilian is on pole for the second straight Grand Prix and remember he spent most of this week saying how much he didn't like Monaco. ΨΨ babloos ΨΨ
Ferrari have done what they threatened to do; they've bettered McLaren on a track where McLaren have dominated in recent times, winning 14 of the past 25 races. Massa and Raikkonen have locked out the front row while the McLarens fill out the second row. Monaco is a difficult place to overtake and so Ferrari must go into the race as strong favourites.
