There wasn't even a need for a red flag but obviously FIA will do it because otherwise HAM will lose time in the pits. I seriously want RedBull and VER to absolutely humiliate these guys. The fact that Ham skipped the pitstop under safety car despite having damaged front wing meant they knew it was going to be red flagged. How did they know that? Cash Posted July 18, 2021 Report Share Posted July 18, 2021 Wow lot of hate here. :| Granted it was Hamilton's mistake but no way intentional and Verstappen could've easily avoided it had he known where Hamilton was. Take a look at Spanish GP start where Hamilton had to take evasive action to avoid Verstappen when he was lunging or the Italian one where he had to go wide. That was all elbows out from Verstappen and this was elbows out from hamilton i feel.
