Finally Max can sit back and take it all in :clapping:

Cant say I expected any other outcome. It would have been totally wrong to snatch it away, seeing as RB and Max did nothing wrong.

They have lodged a notice of intention for sporting and judiciary regulations.

Merc just can't stop.

That will take months. Doesn't matter. For all purposes this is done for now.

So second appeal rejected, Mercedes will need to appeal in international court. I have a mixed feeling about this, while I supported max for majority of season, last few races had me rethinking about my decision, max had been brash and acting like a sore loser and kid, him walking off the podium last race was testament to this.

Hamilton on the other hand was very professional even in win and loss, even today, he was definitely the better man and better racer too today, luck had something else in store.

So close, yet so far.

Congratulations to max and red bull. Hopefully next season is closely fought again, but on track, and not on such decisions.

Quote

Red Bull team principal Christian Horner has promised a lifetime supply of Red Bull to Nicholas Latifi after the Canadian’s crash unleashed the chaos which ultimately led to Max Verstappen’s championship win.

The Canadian is at the end of his second season in Formula 1 and doesn’t seem to have anything like the quality to ever challenge for race wins and podiums, so his influence on this title fight is likely to be the contribution his Formula 1 career is most remember for.

Latifi ke maze ?

Juncadella summarizes the entire season perfectly.

I find it absolutely fascinating that almost everyone who is being vocal against Masi and the whole situation, is associated with Mercedes in some way or another.

Basically, safety car should exist throughout the season except during the race where Merc was dominating.

If things would have been fair throughout, Verstappen wouldn't have even needed the win to become champion.

Also when it comes to being a sore loser, this guy is 24 years old, trying to get his first championship.

There is a whole lot of difference when it comes to your 1st vs 8th championship.

Anyone of us would have behaved the same way.

Go back to the 2016 season and see how cordial Hamilton used to be against Rosberg, especially during the last race.

He used to go on the air and say that they aren't friends and Merc is being unfair to him.

Emotions take hold of everyone.

Hamilton matured a lot over 14 seasons, but I still remember how he treated his teammates over the years, from Button to Rosberg. Dude has always been a whiney diva. Next year is going to be interesting when they finally get a competent second driver who refuses to be a silent wingman.

Just yesterday he was whining about Checo driving dangerously. Like, fk off   Are you so used to other drivers rolling over and letting you pass in one take that when someone actually puts up a fight, it suddenly becomes dangerous driving?

That's everyone's point. This entire season has been a clusterf**k. I don't know what other point you're trying to make.

Damn the final race drama ruined the season for me.. this is the reason I stopped watching f1..max wasn’t even close the entire race and just one accident changed the race… that’s the lamest thing ever..

I am glad max won but I would have been much better if he won in normal circumstances…

There was no way they were going to let the final lap of the season finish behind the SC.

One lap of pure racing to determine the winner -- great prospect for the sport. Easy decision to make.

But I'm sure the situation would've been 100x worse now if Lewis was in Max's place in that final lap with a set of brand new softs.

For all the trolling that Merc is going through, they have every right to protest and take this to court.

... and Lewis has been extremely professional and matured. Hasn't put a foot wrong the entire race... still maintained his composure and dealt with the result like a champ.

He was always within 5 seconds or two turns behind until VSC pit stop. The safety car threat was always present, which is why Toto called the race officials and begged them to not put out the safety car. Imagine a team principle trying to dictate safety car terms with stewards

Horner did the same thing in the last lap.. asking them to let the lapped cars pass through and suddenly the race stewards  changed the decision ?

That it was a clusterf**k even before the last season and no one was as vocal about it before.

The point at which it goes against Merc & Ham, suddenly Masi is an idiot.
