Joy
+1, also i heard there are rumors of bringing schumi back for the rest of the season... Yeah I also read that , it could be possible as Ferrari needs someone who can give them any chance they have at all have to win the Constructors Championship , and there is no man better in this world than Michael Schumacher to do that. I read that Schumi did some testing in last years car and his pace was very close to Massa and Kimi. It either going to be Schumi or 3rd Ferrari driver Frenchmen Mark Gene , but he hasn't done any laps under his belt due to ban on mid-season testing. Whoever comes will take a race at least to get upto full speed , I also heard a rumor that Alonso might race for Ferrari in Valencia for just once race as Renault are banned from this race due to Tyre incident in last race. Whoever joins Kimi , has to perform from word go as Ferrari needs big points to have any hopes of retaining their constructors championship. MarketTantrik
Its not a rumour. Niki Lauda just made that suggestion when he was being interviewed after the Massa incident. In other news, BMW may quit F1
Joy
BMW quitting F1 Damn , it was bound to happen as they are having their worst season ever , the car is very bad to drive and both the drivers can't even make it to Q2 in qualifying its that bad a handling car. The new rule changes in F1 this season has hit hard many teams , among them BMW is the worst hit team who are really struggling to stay competitive. I hope they don't quit. MarketTantrik
I feel sorry for Robert Kubica. He really should be in McLaren alongside Hamilton. But it looks like that seat might go to Nico Rosberg.
MarketTantrik
Its Official. BMW is quitting F1 at the end of 2009
AtheK
bye bye BMW, kubica can come to ferrari as a test driver
MarketTantrik
^^ Kimi may quit F1 to take up rallying and if rumours are to be believed, Alonso had a contract with Ferrari for 2010. So Kubica could move to Renault or McLaren.
AtheK
ya even i read about that rumors, but i don't think kimi should quit so soon, he should give him one more season and one more chance to be world champion. Also i am not sure about Massa, not on his physical level, but mentally, accident like this can leave a bad scar on your confidence.

You are right about the psychological scars, but hopefully Massa can emulate Niki Lauda and get back into the cockpit. As for Kimi, I dont think he has the absolute commitment required to win another title. Massa looks to have gotten the measure of him. That and the 2007 title seem to have robbed Kimi of his motivation.
