Shocking yes, but a smart piece of thinking on his part to give his team a chance to stay in the world cup. He got red carded, opposition team got a penalty, not his problem that they missed it. You see players diving quite regularly to win penalties for their teams in every other match, atleast in this case he was punished for cheating. And I know money > morality for just about everyone these days, but what kind of club/country would be okay including such an offender in their playing XI.
