kayten
Having played both the demos, I am utterly flattered to see how different both the games are. I am a PES guy so I hardly got to see the otherside, but over the last few months I played FIFA on the PS4. The game had brilliant passing schema. Even Fifa 15, I believe has brilliant passing schema, that I miss in PES. I find passes are to be weighted instead of not just pressing the pass button. The directions also needs to be given appropriately. I believe I will start liking the passing schema better once when I'm more used to it. Initially there were fears of ping-pong passing which doesn't seem to be the case. Can someone let me know how to tap the ball in front as we dribble? I used to do E+C on the PC but how do we do it on the controller?

realsoccerdude111
The game actually plays better when you stop comparing it to pes6. My biggest gripe at the moment is weightlessness on the first touch also while controlling the ball with a player its difficult to feel the weight of the player. Vidal feels doesnt feel like vidal or Pepe like Pepe. Weight of the player seems to be compensated for better responsiveness. ( i was happy with pes14s responsiveness, this feels more like fifa)

( i was happy with pes14s responsiveness, this feels more like fifa) This is true. Every player weights and moves in a similar manner. However lets give the game more time. We will get used to it The first touch system in FIFA is great. I enjoyed using the right analog to take nice first touches Double tap R1 I think. Thanks buddy, let me check the next time I play

swift
^ If it was that fluid on ps3 that'd be great.

kayten
Ahh, want to try the ps4 ver so much and see the differences. I play on the PS4. I had played some 7 game so far and I feel the same as @realsoccerdude111. The player ID in dribbling is excellent but player ID in their ability to move with the ball is awkward. Bale dribbles like Neymar. Gotze skates around the field etc The game is good and it grows on us slowly. The first time when I really enjoyed the game was the 7th game. Im getting used to the controls too. Lets hope the experience improves. Funny thing, the FPS drops once in a while or there is a framerate stutter. Hope konami addresses them

realsoccerdude111
Apart from minor shortcomings in the menu and with bit of floating feeling on players the game plays beautifully. If weighty feeling and friction is induced in on-the-ball players this Pes cpould be theone of the best weve played in years. Players not just look photo realistic but unbelievably represent their real life playing style : Robben,Kroos,Isco,Marcelo,Casillas,Ronaldo,Pirlo,Tevez,Neymar,Messi,Rakitic,Lahm,Jese rodrigues are a must try out. Just change the weird formations and positionings to that in treality and game plays lot better, more balanced. All The Fifa fans should try out this demo. Heading, shooting, passing, off the ball movements, looped headers, sliding tackles, lobbed pass animations, intercepting is slick.
kayten
Im finding passing a bit difficult. And yes if they can take away the floaty feeling this could become excellent.
Gamer_Omar
Downloaded the demo on my PS3. Though Ronaldo looks bad, I love his celebration. Gameplay is good. Player movement is not as fluid as PES 2013 though. But yes, play for a while and the game grows on you.
Gamer_Omar
Sam is bias towards PES ...I am also Bias towards PES....PES6 was one of my best video gaming experience. I remember i use to feel so thrilled and excited with just one goal in that game as it felt so close to the real game.Never was any sports game felt like that other than GT game. I still own that copy so dear ...i bought it years later though...initially i played on ahem version. Spot on.. PES 6 was amazing.
