Halo: The Master Chief Collection

i just got my xbox one at 4.36pm today.....and how i got it is a totally different story however... Amazon i.e cloudtail which was the seller decided to ship my xbox one through fedex and the extra controller on discount through their amazon transportation services but it should have been a simple cod delivery however our good guys over at fedex sent me a message yesterday at 3.45pm that my console is out for delivery but they didnt and i waited till 1pm today and then decided to call up amazon and told them everything...after that amazon told me they will get back to me after calling up the local courier guys which i tried calling them before many times but they wouldnt pick up.

 

So at 2pm i got my reply back from amazon that fedex couldnt deliver because of heavy rainfall since the last few days but it hasnt rained in the last 3days and then i asked them why did they show that its out for delivery yesterday so they again asked the courier guys and they said beacuse of heavy traffic they couldnt deliver yesterday so amazon told them that my package should be a priority and should be delivered by the end of the day. Finally i was satisfied.

 

Now the real part starts i waited till 4pm so i decided to go to fedex myself...gave my tracking number and everything else and they said yeah its been here since yesterday and so my bill was rs44150 as written on the box with discount of rs1839 which was of the extra controller...and suddenly he told me sir your bill is rs45990 and i told him no i got a discount of 1839rs as its shown here on the bill....nahi bhaiya hamare pc me toh rs 45990 wahi dena parega

 

Yep that was the icing on the box and after calling up the manager clearly things up with the morons that is fedex and some part amazon too they finally decided to let me leave without paying rs45990 and the actual net amount which is rs44150 though they kept a photostat of the bill incase they have to pay the extra money themselves if i was wrong.

 

Enjoying my Xbox one now but that was something else i have never experienced before nor i ever will.

 

 

edit--- oh i almost forgot i still am yet to receive my extra xbox controller and the expected delivery day was 27th september

For those of you who like to start message board wars over such things, let's get this out of the way: Halo 2's campaign isn't quiiiiiiite 1080p. Due to running the original graphics engine and the Xbox One-ified Anniversary graphics engine simultaneously and the original Halo 2 audio engine and remastered Anniversary audio engine simultaneously, Halo 2's campaign does run at 60fps but, resolution-wise, clocks in at 1328x1080. Here's an explanation from 343 executive producer Dan Ayoub: “During development we were really pleased with the way the engine and buffer allowed us to switch instantly between classic and Anniversary engines that are running simultaneously – however that, as you might expect, put a hit on resolution. The campaign of Halo 2: Anniversary looked fantastic at 720p with the level of detail and clarity it gave us, but like every other aspect of the game and tech, we wanted to push it further. So in the last weeks of development, our teams were able to meet a stretch goal and the campaign of Halo 2: Anniversary now runs 60 fps at a crisp resolution of 1328x1080, which is a significant and meaningful boost in image quality we think fans are really going to appreciate. All of the other games across the entire package of The Master Chief Collection run 60 fps at 1920x1080 native.”

With so many good games coming out this season, I find myself feeling quite underwhelmed at the prospect of this collection. Having played the sh!t out of all the games upon their original releases it just seems like this game should have come out around March-April during the lull.

 

Of course I am in the minuscule minority, nevertheless Xbox is really throwing too much exclusive-mojo in just over 2 months. Forza, Halo AND Sunset Overdrive. With 3rd party AAA titles as well, Xbox owners are spoiled with choices. It's like Sony in February with Bloodborne and The Order in an already incredible month.
