It's not that bad. I'll check the percentage once tomorrow night, and if it hasn't finished by then, I'll give it max 1 more day. I have ADSL (not fiber), so the damage will be limited.

Looking forward to this game. H3 was where I played my first console MP, so I'm looking forward to playing some H2 and H1 MP.

Okay, the same thing happened with me. As soon as I switched it on, the Xbox told me that I had been signed out. Then the progress bar went from full to 32%. Only the preorder bonus had been downloaded.

 

The good news is that Xbox customer care was already aware of this issue. They said that their "engineers" were working on it. They were very confident that it's going to get fixed in 24 hours.

 

Had to ask for a refund though. Airtel must have been giving me super speeds yesterday, because the Xbox used a lot more bandwidth than I was expecting :(

^^Would totally watch that. Bungie's H2 documentary was fantastic as well.

 

Is it worth getting Xbone for this game? I'm interested because this has 4 games with splitscreen co-op.
Other games i'm interested are sunset overdrive and next gears of war(also for splitscreen co op)

 

If you arent a massive fan of it then I dont think any one game is worth buying an entire console for.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection's Ranking System Detailed IGN First

 

 

Each playlist within Halo: The Master Chief Collection uses an independent skill-based ranking system that is identical to the leveling system from the original Halo 2," the studio told IGN. "The system uses the same exact XP requirements as the original Halo 2; players will earn XP when they win and lose XP when they lose, and total XP will determine their rank. You will have a skill-based ranking per each playlist; we ultimately decided not to have a 'master' ranking across all four games combined, given that player skill and approach varies radically between game chapters.

 

"Additionally, weve also modified matchmaking to use skill detection, which will put players into the fairest matches faster than any Halo game to date," a studio spokesperson continued. "In ranked hoppers, players will be evaluated after each match and can go up or down in ranks depending on how well they perform. Social matches [Ed. note: read: 'unranked'] will also be available for players who prefer a more relaxed play experience."
