I'd rather take a AAA game developed by 50 ppl than the ones companies like UBI and Acti churn out every year with 1000 man teams. MS doing shady stuff like withholding pay till they see results is what id expect from money minded morons with 0 trust and 0 relationship with developers. There is no second party, who's dumb enough to defend a publisher who killed more announced games in last 2 years than all the other supposed evil corps combined? Are you saying this based on Adam Bolton tweet? Who also said Kamiya is on holiday coz of Mental trauma? Lol From Gaf - So I just spoke to my colleague (who I will keep anonymous) who left Platinum a while ago. Obviously, he/she was upset to hear the news. Over 100 people were working on the game, and he/she wonders what will happen to those people. Moreover, from his/ her perspective, the game was the biggest source of income and the main focus of attention. He/ she wasn't surprised though, because they were worried throughout development that it was becoming a mess. People were complaining to him/ her about lack of direction (not from Kamiya, but various directors/ producers). Sometimes people would work hard on something they had been tasked with, then be told the next day that they had decided to go in a completely different direction. My colleague got the impression Microsoft weren't happy, as they sent someone to help and that person seemed pretty exasperated with the whole thing. My colleague also says we all need to tweet Kamiya with words of encouragement! This sounds like the management at PG was not doing so good. Looks like Project was too big and ambitious for Platinum. hope Posted January 12, 2017 Report Share Posted January 12, 2017 Its the dev who cancelled it i think due to poor treatment and pay problems or maybe MS trying to alter the devs vision of the game to their liking which is not a good thing to do. Game was anyway not looking promising for me after that dreadful E3 demo. This proves MS just doesn't care about their game business.
