Looks so so.. :fear: I'd be dammed if this even sells a million copies.

So......like EVERY Platinum game ever made? :P

Not a huge fan of them personally (aside from one or two titles) but I kinda like that they are around and add variety to the AAA industry.

I was gonna come in here guns blazing to lash out at people saying its meh :gunsmilie: . Platinum games

But the game does kinda look so-so , doesn't even feel like a Platinum games title. It looks like some western dev trying to rip off Dragons Dogma. Graphics look really good considering this is a pre-alpha?

It will sell well , Platinum games titles sell bad because they get
a) Shitty marketting - Hellooo Sega
b ) New IP
c) Shitty platform - Hellooo Wii U
Bayo 2 would have easily done 2m+ had it come out on the right platforms. Metal Gear Rising did 2m+ even though it was a 9 month game that salvaged Kojimas game.

HYYYYPPPPUUUU DESU NEEEEE~

f**king amazing. I've always loved Kamiya's devil trigger design more than Itsuno's and it's no different here. That form looks badass. Hitboxes are spot on, attacks have AoE when in devil trigger (or w/e that dragon transformation mechanic is called). Loving the stinger :D Hoping there is indeed a move list instead of just B'n'B normals for every weapon for mixups.

Also, this is THE BEST looking P+ game ever ? Looks drop dead gorgeous. And what's up with the hate already in this thread ? LOL, looking so so ? Pretty sure all you casuals would drool over that copy/paste cinematic piece of sh*t tomb raider over this.

Its probably a very early build. Considering Platinum's formula of putting gameplay on the pedestal and designing everything else around it, framerate should be pretty solid in the final game.

I thought it might be the case as well. Even without judging the graphics or framrate the gameplay that's shown is hardly any good. I was expecting it would be on the lines of drakengard with dragon riding and large scale destruction spells in addition to normal swordplay.

This looks like somewhat like freedom wars which in turn was soul sacrifice and monster hunter mixed clone. Nothing in this gameplay demo I haven't seen in other games already. Just looks like a mixed bag of all the monster hunter clones in the market. Bare bones sword play, some 3rd person shooting, a grappling hook, a lame transformation, a dragon which looks like azure ratholus and a annoying dude with headphones trying hard to be sarcastic.

Compared to new ips like horizon, quantam break which also showed pre alpha gameplay for around 5 mins this just falls flat out.

Also it wouldn't have been this lame if they had thought of some intro to world and story before gameplay. Something like qb and horizon or even like recore trailer.

As it stands now there no clear premise nor any interesting gameplay footage. How in the blue f**k are they going to drag customers to buy x1 like this

No one will buy the console for this game, thats y it will release alongside gears 4 and forza horizon 3,same way its for tomb raider this year.

You have to give a proper package to attract, which they will have next year as well.

I'd definitely pick it up just for this one game, the guy (and his team) has enough pedigree. And I thought the gameplay looked spectacular. MonHun wishes its cutscenes looked half as good as this, forget about gameplay.

Watched the gameplay reveal this morning. It reminds me of that DMC reboot, and that weird Dante.Game surely has potential but the demo was probably rushed. The walk animations were weird and combat was kinda slow and sluggish.I noticed a few fps drops(maybe it was the youtube player) which is obviously not good.Anyway, it has enough time to shine.
