There are puzzles, but they are quite easy. The presentation and the atmosphere are what makes the game amazing.

So a 2D walking simulator like the first one.

Good to know, 80% off in a sale it is.

Just finished it. WTF indeed!!

Don't get the ending but I also don't want to read into it too much. I'm quite satisfied with the weirdness of it all. It's pretty surreal and I loved it.

Those goddamned eerily incredible animations :majesty:

Just finished it. Perfectly good game ruined by last 30 minutes for me.

A nice atmospheric game. The puzzles and platforming is good; though it's shallow. It doesn't feel like walking simulator despite 70% of the game is just walking. Takes about ~2 hours. Maybe 3 if you decide to get all achievements for secret ending.

Sure worth picking it up during sale.

Regarding secret ending:

The kid was controlled by you, the player, the whole time. After he unplugs the giant wire, you can clearly see him slump over, just like all the other mind-controlled people do when the kid stop controlling them.

You unplugged yourself from the kid. And the game.

The ending...wow. The character animation was amazing there. Terrifying, weird and kind of uplifting game. Everyone should definitely try this. I didn't think too highly of Limbo, but this is just another league. The puzzles are satisfying and the stealth can be pretty hard.

It feels like I had just woken up from a bad nightmare.

Exactly.

There are many theories about it floating around on the internet and some of them are quite good too. But I still like to think of it as a weird dream that doesn't exactly make a lot of sense and I somehow find that fascinating.

It's actually quite funny how bizarre it is.

Not a spoiler but I still tagged it so as not to mess with people's expectations.

Kudos to the developers for the animations. Those are some pixar level quality right there. :clap3:

Yup. The physics and animations in this game are f**king fantastic.

The focus and polish on this thing is incredible. The developers achieve what they set out to do very well. Honestly, I can't think of anything that I'd want to change in the game.

The depth of field in the world which gives you info about your environment, the sound design, the lighting, the character animation, especially the last bit. The puzzles were never hard, but the larger-level spanning puzzles felt EPIC.

Don't forget the music. Minimal yet very effective in evoking a sense of awe and wonder.

And the sublime art direction! It makes even some of the inanimate objects feel like they have their own mystery and their own story to tell.

I especially liked the

Reverse gravity water levels, and ofcourse the blob!!.

And that shockwave level. I love how you hear and feel that shockwave even before you actually encounter it.

Also those spooky underwater levels with the ring girl. Though the trailer kinda spoiled it a little for me, her entry still managed to give me a jolt.
