What an absolute gem of a game. :majesty: Never before have I finished a game in one sitting. Amazing art and exceptional use of the background and game world in story telling...without a single dialogue or text. There were so many WTF moments. Puzzles were easier compared to Limbo though. It makes the game a bit more tense when you see a child in dangerous situations and doing all those life threatning jumps. Light Nightmares and TLG used this well too.

And she was freaky!!

Wow, it's been more than 3 years since this came out!

Feels like I played it just last year :|

And we haven't got even a tidbit of info about Playdead's next game :|

Well, at least we're getting Little Nightmares 2 next year.

Taken from that article:

Quote

At the time, Playdead co-founder Arnt Jensen said (via Google Translate) that their sci-fi game will "move away from the 2D style that Playdead is known for." The game eventually opens up and becomes a "3rd person game with a much larger area that you can move around."

Not sure how that's gonna pan out. Trine 3 tried something similar and wasn't well received.

Let's see.

Damn! Just completed this. Blown away. Absolutely blown away. Masterpiece!

The art style, the character movement, animation, interactions, all so smooth.

But the real MVP of the piece the is sound design, the footsteps, the breathing, the noises in the background, the silence, everything creates such an atmosphere.

And that Background Music in a lot of the places, when it kicks in :majesty:

This game reminded me a lot of another game, The Swapper, another pretty good puzzler with similar atmosphere, but this game is in another league altogether. Limbo is a school project by comparison to this gem!
