ALPHA17
Well, piracy isn't allowed. Emulation is more or less that as we all know that no one is going to buy original wii u discs first to play on cemu on pc. That is why i thought that emulation talk isn't allowed. You know NINTENDO releases its own ROM's for newer iteration of their consoles. It is a legal grey area, I will not condone it, I will not endorse it, you are free to discuss it. Caveat emptor. Discussion of straight up piracy, modding hardware (for the express purpose of piracy) is not legally grey, it is wrong, hence no dice on this board. You are free to discuss in private, on other boards etc etc.
Gautam
Been playing BOTW for the last two days on my Switch. This game really is magic! The world, the art-style, the music, the characters - everything is perfect and works so well together. It's a truly joyful experience. Also, I can't believe how responsive the world is. You can interact with everything! You can go to a field, cut grass and you get a bundle of wheat. You can chop trees. You can use a torch and heat apples on trees to make baked apples. I'm having so much fun just discovering everything you can do in the game. And so far, anything I think of and try, ends up working in expected or even unexpected ways. When I started the game, I was a bit underwhelmed with how it looked. Especially coming from playing Horizon on a PS4Pro/4k TV. But there's something to this game, that sucks you into the world. It many ways, it beats Horizon. Everything you do in the world leaves a mark. This game would be mind-boggling on 2017 console hardware, but it already is mind-boggling on a freakin tablet! I've never played anything like this before. And I'm a bit wary that this game is going to ruin future games on the Switch. But for the next few weeks/months? I think I'm going to have a great old time.

CarbonCore
Game looks so sharp and pretty on the Switch screen. I should've have waited instead of playing the WiiU version. Still looking forward to replaying the whole thing again.
Gautam
It really does look great on the Switch screen. I prefer playing in portable mode for that reason. It can still look really good on a big TV. The textures can look a bit muddy but the overall visual style and the world (wind blowing, mist clouds, leaves rustling, grass bending etc.) make up so much of the that deficit. bowser
I'm playing this game on my Wii U and it's absolutely fantastic. The frame rate drops happen occasionally but it's still definitely playable. I have also tried this game on the Switch and I must say the controls are not as good as Wii U. Especially pressing the + and - buttons makes my thumbs ache on Switch. And we have to press those often in this game. The Switch pro controller is a must. The feeling you get when you are playing a masterpiece. Without a doubt the best open world game I have ever played and one of the best games, period. Words don't do justice to just how magical this game is. Same here. Close to 40 hours clocked and the game still surprises me. Barely getting time to play during weekdays, but I am gonna reserve my weekend purely for this. I activated all the sheikah towers so that it becomes easier to get across the map And only 30 shrines done! Story wise, I am ignoring it for now. Keano
Glad to see everyone who picked the game are thoroughly enjoying it. 120+ hours and I am done with like 90% of the game(ignoring the korok seeds). Will complete the game when DLC1 is out.

Hands down one of the best open word games ever made. The freedom to go anywhere and climb any thing is soo good..
