What are you saying dude..It has a timeline starting with Skyward Sword and after Ocarina of Time it splits up into 3 branches.

Have you played old zelda games?

Those two games are part of the third branch which has no connection to previous games. Take a look at this image for the timeline.

Zelda Timeline

I would suggest you play Ocarina of Time. It's available on Virtual Console. Even the older games are available. Breath of Wild is set 100 years after a certain event. I don't know what event it is so I don't know where it fits but will know soon.

Read few early impressions. Looks like Nintendo took lot of rpg elements from Witcher, Dark Souls and Ubisoft open world games. For example - You climb towers in this game to unlock missions and activities on the map in the game

You have to take potions and apply oil some times to beat certain enemies. And enemies kill you very fast and everything takes stamina like Souls games.

It's a mix of multiple rpg games like ZD.

We'l have to see if its even true first. No previews I read said that.

In zelda games climbing to higher places and paragliding to locations which are not reachable by foot is already there. I guess it should be something like that.

GTAV is last gen though, but yeah don't be surprised if BotW Meta average is within one or two points of it. Game is freaking amazing, made me stop playing HZD for a while :P

You playing on Wii U or Switch? If Wii U, how does it perform?

On WiiU, its mostly ok, but when it drops, it drops like hell. First village I visited had constant 10-15 fps. Fire effect also kills performance. Its not like AC Unity on PS4 where it chugs everywhere, but I'd say about 15-20% of the time it dips to 20fps or below. Six hours in and still haven't found a dungeon so this breaks Twilight Princess record for me :P But in Shrines and in most combat situations the fps holds steady.
