WhiteWolf
Today, Capcom announced that at its most recent investor meeting, its shareholders voted to end the company's hostile takeover defense -- which means that Capcom could now be acquired if a company buys up large amounts of its stock. Many companies have defenses against a stock purchase takeover, and there are various schemes and strategies they can adopt to block a party from gaining control of the company by buying up its stock. http://www.gamasutra.com/view/news/219300/Capcom_shareholders_open_company_up_to_takeover_possibility.php
playstation
Two companies ...I see can buy them... Nintendo ...They need games to boost Wii u Sales and apart from rinse and repeat - Mario and Zelda titles...they can do more with Games from Capcom. Doosra Hai Microsoft...simply because they have money and more money and xbox can do with more exclusives... Bakhi Sony ka toh halat asa hai ki Chaddhi bhi nahi le payega ...so out of picture. Sach4life
I hope none of the console manufacturers buy them and its either a big third party that buys their ips or a group of investors that have nothing to do with gaming buys them.

Shadoken
None of the 3 console manufacturers have 2bn to spend on buying Capcom. And even if they did bought them , making their games exclusive will only reduce sales by a fukton. It will mostly be a larger media company that wants to get into the gaming industry or already owns multiple game devs. Or maybe one of those huge chinese F2P companies.
