Primarc pecan is an authorised distributor though. Have ordered from him a couple of times. Have also confirmed with ON india regarding the same.

Non returnable part sucks though. What if the jar gets damaged during transport and the powder spills out? Will they not replace it in that case?

Don't think so. Non returnable is very clear on that fact.

I'm pretty sure if it's by primarc pecan it won't be a fake. Heck, if you can't trust a company authorised importer/distributor, then who can you trust? :\

But the non returnability clause is pretty stupid because recieving a damaged product is possible.

It is. Everybody knows how many fake products you get in this category. Amazon must have deterred so many potential customers with this clause.

Running regularly since 2 months, but that bone piercing into flesh things happens to mw too. On the shins. I thought it will go away with time as my muscles get stronger. But its still the same. I can run more now but that pain always kicks in :(

If it helps....i kept on running 3-4 times a week(as i had no other option), and now i havnt felt that pain for over a month now. Havnt changed anything, the pain got away by itself.

The muscle on the shins is called the tibialis anterior. It's a very thin, strip like muscle over the tibia bone. It's main purpose is dorsi flexion, or pulling the foot upward, just opposite of the movement you do when you do calf raises. Running is an impact movement, and many times this largely ignored muscle is unable to handle repeated impacts due to long running sessions. It can be due to a weak muscle, having incorrect footwear, having incorrect or less efficient gait (basically walking and running form) mechanics or even if the foot strikes the ground at an incorrect angle. Do your shoes get used up more from one side than the other? That's usually a clear indicator.

Anyway, to correct this pain and to prevent it in the future, all these biomechanical inefficiencies have to be looked at, which I can't do because I can't see you running. :P

However, least you can and should do is make the muscle stronger. How do you do that? Put resistance (weight) against the function of the muscle and progressively go heavier. The best way to do that for tibialis anterior is to use the cable machine, put one end over your foot while you sit down on a bench or the ground and just pull your foot inward. Just opposite to the movement of the calf press.

Also, do not run through the pain. That could cause the area to be chronically inflammed. Use massage, stretching, hot water treatment etc. to alleviate the pain from running.

Do 10-15 reps.

Shin splints and side stitches can fkup your good run so quickly like nothing else. I used to do shin exercise by just leaning against wall standing up with your feet about 1 foot away from wall and raise and lower your lower foot around the ball of your heel (its like the reverse of calf raises). You will feel the burn within a minute or so.

I bought Nike Air run 5 offline. I don't buy shoes online because they usually send older models online with older manufacturing and have noticed the shoes are never as comfortable as the one's I 've bought from stores. Asics can be bought at reliance footprints. Nike is everywhere :P

First,

Beta blockers, also known as beta-adrenergic blocking agents, are medications that reduce your blood pressure. Beta blockers work by blocking the effects of the hormone epinephrine, also known as adrenaline. When you take beta blockers, your heart beats more slowly and with less force, thereby reducing blood pressure.

In theory, beta blockers may help reduce anxiety. But they don't reduce anxiety in everybody, and they can't cure anxiety altogether. You'll need to continue to take the medication for the rest of your life, otherwise, your anxiety will come back. Some people tolerate beta blockers well and find that they're successful in reducing anxiety symptoms. But others find that the side effects increase their anxiety overall.

Beta blockers can have a placebo effect and do come with side effects such as fatigue, nausea, depression, hypotension, etc,.

There are better options. Commit to meditation. Take a time-out, eat well-balanced meals, get enough sleep, deep breaths, welcome humour. Start reading. Learn what triggers your anxiety. Is it your work or family or studies or personal or something you itself don't know it yet? If that's the case, try to keep a journal and write it down.

You should also try to get involved with others. Try talking to people, meet new people, communicate, volunteer, etc. There is nothing wrong in that. What's the worst can happen? Nothing. You will still live. So why hold yourself? You will feel more confident that ever.

Apart from that, when alone, try to distract yourself. Be it video games (watch out of triggers) or good old comedy on the telly. Try exercising too. It's really good for mind and soul.

If you still decide to go with beta-blockers, do read articles and research before getting into it. It's not healthy in long run. I'd recommend Brain Pickings blog. Plenty of quality articles.

Good luck. ujsJgDC.gif
