It was a heavenly feeling, half of our football team had done that 10 years back when our football shirts were soaking wet and went home topless in mopeds.

Felt free and

also people cheering me on, even police were like go on and some calling me Shah Rukh khan and stuff :p

that 40 KM's passed quite quickly in the otherwise dreadful return trip.

The police were stopping some two wheeler bikes from passing in front of me.

I told them I am training, they said : great , but do come back.

How come you guys are able to do push up daily. Isn't your chest sore the next day?

I did 100-125 push ups daily for 30 days.

But didn't do anything else and usually my shoulders and chest were slightly sore everytime but keep doing daily then body is habituated to it.

It's about endurance.

Started leg days again now, and when 30 days of legs were done easily, now they get me sore.

Yes, my schedule is not efficient at all but I do whatever is fun for me at the time.

Eg.

Start playing football daily, legs will get sore everyday for 10-12 days.

But nothing once you get into the habit.

Serious question.

So as I told, the guy I went to cycle with who stopped after 80 kms something calling help from home.(out of the total 155)

When I asked him to cycle together I was worried I would be left far behind and he was suggesting we cycle 200 KM's. He also also had a way way better cycle than me.

He is only 3 kilos heavier than me, with all those muscles everywhere he is ripped with an eight pack and trains his steel hard legs and back like anything. There's no part of his body that isn't strong.

52 minute plank and 1000 slow walking lunges are some of his workouts.

He Kind of shifted to body building more.

He was shocked and so was I.

So is weight training bad for your endurance or what ?

(I don't cycle regularly either -  only 4 times I have done a decent distance in the past 6 months)

How do you guys stay fit in this corona time? I am gaining weight as my swimming/cycling and gym has stopped for more than 4 months. Need to find a routine which I can do at home before things get out of hand :P

My weight actually reduced with the lockdown because outside food stopped. Never liked roti sabji so I end up having a calorie deficit EZ. Also, those workouts on Nike, cult, etc are pretty good to burn calories.

I will see how they are. I have stopped outside food as well but Mom and Wifey cooks a lot of stuff nowadays since they have a lot of spare time.

Started a new form of push ups.

Lazy and bored and find it hard(motivation wise) to do the regular ones now.

Feet on a platform of knee height and shower on full on the head and back,

go all the way down.

Fun thing is you get out of breath before your shoulders give up.

Decent numbers of 25 a set.

Yes

Bathroom shower on full force directed at the head and upper back while doing push ups.

Have thought that next time it rains will try it on the terrace.

Which movie is this ?

And no, random Youtube video on US army training something that they do this.

Just adds some fun mainly.

Just buy a good looped resistance band and see the difference. No point in wasting water. I have one from Decathlon. As someone who can bench 70kg (not counting the rod), it really pushes me.

US army probably uses water to make soldiers accustomed to harsh terrain.
