Ever since the new expansion - One Night in Karazhan released, the game has gone to total shite.

No balance whatsoever. Both constructed and arena are a complete mess.

Firelands Portal - COMMON!!!! REALLY? Common Mage card as if Mage wasn't crazy good in Arena already.

Constructed:

Aggro Shaman makes you want to uninstall the game.

Call of the Wild makes you want to concede before match beings. Turn 6 -> Savannah Highmane. Turn 7+ coins -> Call of the Wild. Turn 8 -> Call of the Wild.

Yogg-Saron, Hope's End - your skill don't matter anymore. Just play a bunch of spells and drop this when you are about to lose to magically win the game.

Priest gets Purify. What a joke. Also becomes a complete irritating class to play against with those Resurrection decks.

Tempo Mage continues to live and shine again with Flamewanker.

It's disgusting how the game is shaping up. Despite having almost full collection, I lost interest to even bother anymore. I moved to Elder Scrolls: Legends, which is surprisingly very well and doesn't rely on RNG nor has Aggro.

Blizzard has no idea how to balance the game anymore. They are now looking for players to join them for making card changes

Hopefully, things will change around BlizzCon.

Dropped the game after Karazhan came out. What a disappointment it was, In my opinion this was the most boring expansion. Tried legends for few weeks, really liked some of the mechanics but felt it was very dull in presentation(makes sense because it is in beta). Can't wait for GWENT beta to start, that game looks really good and it is a bit different from these other card games.

Yep, Karazhan was a major disappointment. Even boss fights were underwhelming. MJX01Z0.gif

Legends is getting nice patch today. Includes card changes, starter pack (60 cards + legendary + title + 3 art styles), new menu and more. They are also adjusting ranked system.

Dull? As in? I can see the board getting little dull, but everything else for me has been an absolute joy because it revolves around TES universe, which is more mature than Warcraft. Less flashy and colorful.

GWENT - don't know how MP is going to be work. Anyone with a better collection is just going to steamroll because you start with 10 cards in hand. Pretty much control will only dominate with all the removal in hand...

Signed up for the BETA, though. Hopefully, will cross my expectations.

It would not work like GWENT the mini-game. Deck builders are already available on the game forums.

They have overhauled Gwent massively. It's not the witcher 3 version for online, but a more balanced and lot more polished (New art and everything). Although i like the more dark and gritty artstyle of Legends it still gets a bit boring after sometime of playing. Small things like golden cards, sounds that card makes just seems so meh. Their crafting system is exact copy of Hearthstone.

All my criticism are regarding the UI and the overall feel of the game which is a good thing, because i really like the lane and the rune mechanics. Interacting with your enemy turn is what i really hoped Hearthstone had.

Also while we are talking about Gwent just look at these Premium cards(aka golden cards)

NERF INCOMING!

Upcoming Hearthstone Balance Changes

A set of balance tweaks is coming in a game update. This hits the most highly represented classes and a couple of neutral cards including Yogg. This patch will be going live before the Last Call event for the Hearthstone World Championships. Last Call Invitationals start October 8th.

  • Rockbiter Weapon now costs 2 mana (Up from 1)
  • Tuskarr Totemic can now only summon Basic totems (the same ones from your hero power)
  • Call of the Wild now costs 9 mana (Up from 8)
  • Execute now costs 2 mana (Up from 1)
  • Charge's mana cost has been lowered to 1 (Down from 3) but the minion it is applied to cannot attack a hero that turn.
  • Abusive Sergeant's now has 1 attack (Down from 2)
  • Yogg-Saron, Hope's End will now stop casting spells if he is destroyed, silenced, transformed, or returned to the owner's hand.

Glad I didn't dust my golden Yogg-Saron. 3600 DUST. nfZvym7.gif

Three crime families are feuding to see who will control the city. Pick a side and use all new cards to hit the Mean Streets of Gadgetzan! Learn more at gadgetzan.com

Not a fan of any revealed card so far.

Before: 4 mana 7/7.

Now: 0 mana 7/7...

No good cards for Paladin. RFPtlnx.gif

Priest gets new board clear and good cards.

They are still pushing Pirate tribe but all pirate cards are awful in-game. The new legendary pirate is an absolute joke. 1 mana, 1/1, charge.

All low-cost legendary cards are awful so far. Kazakus maybe the new Reno, but still weak if you don't pull off max heal or good spell.
