Heaven Angel
Apparently, they shut down their office and Sean didn't even bother to post a single tweet since launch. the office of Hello Games is closed, and has sticks and debris in front of the door, as if no one has been there for a while. Also, the lead designer McKendrick is on tour. He travelled to Greece and Australia in the past month and will be heading to Montreal, Canada in a month. No sign of miracle update. This is like the worst money grabbing scene in video game history. They lied, over promised, sold good amounts and got the money.

Snake
An update from the guy who took the pic. u/bumbaklutzJust a few points... I live in Guildford and their office is near the train station so I really didn't really go out of my way.I just walked past from a distance and took a couple of pictures as I was passing. I didn't go any closer, knock on the door or peak through the window. I didn't hang around and I have no interest in returning.I posted the pictures to discourage others from making the journey to Guildford as there really is nothing to see. There was no evidence suggesting Hello Games have packed up and left. The team do not deserve to be harassed.

Heaven Angel
What are you talking about? It's not just about the game. People are not moaning because the game failed. They are mad because Hello Games lied and fed everyone with fake stuff and broken promises. Second, they even tried to block refunds. The good thing is Valve doesn't give shite about who you are and reinstated the refunds. Third, it's against the laws to show one thing and give another thing. Discrepancies between the advertised game and the actual title include: Videos: User interface design Ship flying behavior (in formation; with a ‘wingman’; flying close to the ground) Behavior of animals (in herds; destroying scenery; in water; reacting to surroundings) Large-scale space combat Structures and buildings as pictured Flowing water Speed of galaxy warp/loading time Aiming systems Screenshots: Size of creatures Behavior of ships and sentinels Structures and buildings as pictured Store Page in general: Quality of graphics References to: lack of loading screens, trade convoys between stars, factions vying over territory

Heaven Angel
Except it's different in-game. Nothing like they promised and advertised it. The broken promise of No Man’s Sky and why it matters. when you play the game as it is, the feeling of being on a planet – even a beautiful one with a lot of life – does not match this trailer. There are no stampeding herds, no beasts lounging in the nearest river (no rivers at all), no animals tearing up trees or muck. Subsequent trailers have the same problem. There are no giant sand worms, there are no huge shipwrecks on the planet’s surface, no low sweeps across the landscape. In fact, for a game that extols freedom, it’s strange that your ship cannot fly lower than 50 metres without being forced to hover over an invisible barrier. There will be no races through narrow canyons here. The honest trailer is actually honest about the game.

CM Sunny
Why people are harassing Hello games? Hogayi galti toh kya ab jaan logay becharon ki :/ They chose to sleep with the devil, now they are facing its consequences. Seems pretty fair to me. It's more of a career suicide for them, this is gonna stick with them for eterrrrrrnity. If they fix the game, slowly deliver the promised stuff and then actually deliver a good game, maybe then they might recover some goodwill. CM Sunny
You think Sean will quit like Phill Fish? Nah, I dunno if he is a genuine shady guy or just got carried away in his web of lies. Another scandal or two will do the trick though That is Horrible but still it is going too far i think just for a game.People who didint like it have got refunds.Sony has openly criticized them.No need for this Investigation and all. Who knows, might set a precedent. Obviously all this is sad for them.
