mohit9206
http://www.indianvideogamer.com/features/why-console-games-cost-more-than-pc-games/8128 Why is that still the case ? Werent console game discs supposed to be locally packaged in India by now ? Will the console game prices ever reach the PC level? PS3 games still cost 2.5k while PS4 cost 3.5k minimum. At this rate console gaming will never see any growth in India.

From Rs 699 / Rs 999 to Rs 1499/RS 1999 in many AAA games ....it still does not hurt as much as console gaming though.

You can eventually get games for extremely cheap though .. steam sales.. trading for TF2 keys etc. Advantage of consoles is the second hand market. So if you have a good one-time budget, you can buy a bunch of games and then keep selling those to fund future purchases to some extent.

playstation
India is just not a good place to do console gaming unless you have very high budgets. With console gaming u got be really patient.... With pc u can still go for most games day 1 and not hurt much .. Dekh basically pc gaming gandh marta hai... Console gaming gandh phadta hai. Thats the difference. You can eventually get games for extremely cheap though .. steam sales.. trading for TF2 keys etc. Advantage of consoles is the second hand market. So if you have a good one-time budget, you can buy a bunch of games and then keep selling those to fund future purchases to some extent. The price is so high now that second hand market is also hurt bcoz of it. Previously people could spend Rs 2.5k on a game and put iton tp and they would get lot of buyers... Now they spend rs 3.5k and when they put it on tp.... U dont get buyer soon bcoz the price is still high until u take hea y loss which is almost equivalent to pc game full price.
