OMG, i'm hearing a loads of praise for Mafia 1, so i just couldn't resist and checked teh rating on Gamespot it was 9.3+editor's choice, now i'm gonna download teh game after COD 4 gets downloaded and see for maself why teh f**k u guys r praising it so much... A very tightly written story, combined with a breathtaking finale in the art gallery, MAFIA had everything in it. Â I played MAFIA before I read 'The Godfather' or watched any of the movies. Now that I've seen it all, even today, the MAFIA music and experience lingers on in my head. That's how deep an impact the game made on my mind. Â If I had a grouch with the game, it had to be the fact that the camera was too close to the character model for my comfort. But seriously, putting that aside, this was one heck of a game. Â With all that history behind it, it's hardly surprising then that I have HUGE expectations from MAFIA II. I'm sure it'll be a winner on all counts. The point being that if you've really enjoyed a game so much, you should reward the developers by actually buying an original copy. The original Mafia is now available dirt cheap between 400 and 600 bucks depending on the store and discounts offered. There's simply no excuse not to pony up and buy the game. Granted , its a great game , but its not the second coming of christ you guys make it out to be . But then again this is coming from the person that hates Zelda , Halo , Starcraft , FFVII , Disgaea and almost anything made by EA ....sooo...yeah....don't listen to me .
