Mafia II

comparisons with GTA IV will be inevitable ! It might turn out to be a good game, but doubt if it'll sell as much !

And from history, when games copy GTA, they just miss out on something - lets see what Mafia II will miss :) !

I would hardly say that the original Mafia was a copy of GTA game. Agreed that the game mechanics as far as being a sand box game are the same but it being a copy of GTA or any other game for that matter would be stretching it too far.

Mafia's storyline and its execution were far superior to any of the GTA' including GTA 4. If they can keep it going, Mafia II will simply blow GTA4 outta the water as far the storyline goes. And considering the let down that GTA4 is, Mafia II has a good shot at wresting some of the spotlight that it richly deserves.

Mafia doesnt even come close to GTA 3 let alone GTA SA, when u consider the game as a whole ! The sheer replayability and sandbox capabilities of GTA just blows Mafia out of the water !

Anyway, review scores will speak, lets see if Mafia II scores a perfect 10. And GTA IV is not a letdown....whiners just don't like change :) !

Dude, thats what MT is saying. He is just talking about the storyline which is the strong point of the game. The whole package doesn't count only because the city was there in Mafia to further the story. You could roam out and about but the whole city was there like a set piece for the perfect execution of the story.

Wonder if he even has a biological CPU, which actually processes what he reads.

Mafia II delay may not be a bad thing. There are lots of shooters and RPGs coming between now (GTA IV) and end of year (before Mafia II release). Gamers will want to play Mafia II and hopefully have forgotten about GTA IV. Because once all the achievements are unlocked in GTA IV and storyline completed, what's there to do? Mafia II releasing late may not be bad (except for those of us who want to play it) - and if they market it better than last time.

WTF ?? The screens are unbelievably good. Too good to be true IMHO. There is a hell of a lot of touch up being done on these screenies.

Why, oh why, cant devs and publis be a little more honest ???

I only hope we don't get another GTA IV here. Screens look mind blowing at first but as the game nears its release date they keep getting crappier reflecting the way the game actually looks.
