On psn pre order, it said that you will get the raid throwback mappack. Anyone got it? Didn't download for me

get it via pc store and download it on your system via download queue.

Other wise errors pop out. When you start the game log in and you will see notification will pop out giving your pre order bonus.

Face-Off: Resident Evil Revelations 2

http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/digitalfoundry-2015-resident-evil-revelations-2-face-off

To start, we were at least happy to see a full 1920x1080 presentation on both new consoles, albeit with a rather basic FXAA implementation handling anti-aliasing duties. Capcom's FXAA implementation produces relatively clean edges but also suffers from mild texture blurring on distant surfaces. Both versions also make use of what appears to be full 16x anisotropic filtering with sharp, clean textures visible at any angle. With so many flat surfaces throughout the game, this feature is a must and we're glad to see that Capcom has implemented it.

Things are a tad disappointing on the PC side, with max settings providing a broadly equivalent experience to the Xbox One and PS4 titles. As with other MT Framework 2.0 games, anti-aliasing is limited to FXAA3 HQ as its maximum setting. Coverage is less aggressive here than standard console FXAA -which is also an option - but it does produce a noticeably sharper image. The only other notable differences comes down to shadow rendering, which offers a slightly higher level of quality than the console equivalents.

On the surface, the two console iterations of the game look mostly identical but an unexpected differentiator arises when it comes to performance. To put it simply, the PlayStation 4 version of the game runs noticeably worse than the Xbox One release. Right from the start we noted a few extra dips here and there on PS4, even though a couple of scenes do run touch faster on Sony's box. Once we set foot outdoors though, things quickly go pear-shaped for PS4. Nearly every outdoor section struggles on Sony's platform, with a large forest scene in particular falling under 30fps regularly, while those same sections on Xbox One averaged between 50-60fps by comparison.

This game seriously needs a major patch update..My game crashes every time i try to exit from main menu plus frame-rate also drops to single digit during some raid missions...

I can't try daily missions as they all are buggy and poorly optimized...Frame-rate stays below 30 during daily missions :|

Capcom Issues Apology for Resident Evil Revelations 2 Steam Blunder

Capcom has apologised for the mix-up regarding the lack of offline co-op in the PC version of Resident Evil Revelations 2, explaining the issue as a gaffe on its part.

“We apologise to our Resident Evil Revelations 2 PC players who purchased the game and expected to have local co-op as a feature,” said the publisher via a statement on Steam. “The feature wasn’t intended for this version and that caveat was mistakenly omitted from the product description on the Steam page earlier, and then included as soon as we were made aware. This was an unintentional error and again, we apologise for the confusion this may have caused.”

“We are currently looking into the matter and potential solutions and we hope to have new information to share very soon, so please stay tuned. Thank you for your patience and understanding.”

It was noted by players following the release of Resident Evil Revelations 2 on PC that, unlike the console versions, the game does not support offline co-op play in the Campaign or in the Raid Mode. The lack of offline co-op for PC was not initially mentioned on the game's Steam store page, leading PC users to believe that the feature would be supported.

Neglected feature added by fan in less than a week.

A mod has been released for Resident Evil: Revelations 2 on PC that adds local co-op to the story mode.

The mod has “a few issues”, concedes creator FluffyQuack on Steam, but should let you play the entire game in co-op. The creator notes that keyboard controls affect both players so, in order for it to work, you need to have two gamepads.

Resident Evil Revelations 2 on PC does not officially support local co-op play in the story or in the Raid mode. Raid mode will support online co-op shortly after launch when a free patch is available for players to download which adds this feature.

Completed Episode 2.. - It was fantastic, better than Episode one. :D

OMG Leon is in raid mode :surprise::panic:

My dream came true at last :dance::wOOtjumpy:

Yeah..Leon is back :D

Jill is already there..Soon Chris, Sherry and Ada Wong will also join

In Episode 2 you will make some choices which will affect your gameplay in Episode 3 and 4 :D

Iam enjoying Revelations 2 more than RE5,6 and Rev 1..Revelations 2 is the real RE game without any kind of hand-holding or QTE BS... :D

Just completed chapter 1 today and I loved it. It's a very good game for its price

Finding it better than rev 1. But this could be just because I haven't finished a game since AW in November :)

Moving to episode 2
