Can you play at 1440p with a 3060 or do you need 3070? Native by the way.

You can. But then again 3070 would have been better, the pricing is so bad for that in market that I cannot suggest getting 3070 at a price of 68k-80k right now.

Unless budget permits.

3060ti = 2080super (performance equivalence...but 2080Super is 5% faster than that) Costs around 54k-63k

3070=  2080ti (2080ti is 4% faster) ...costs around 70k to 80k... where the 3070 FE's actual MRP is 44500.

So I dunno man....pains me to suggest.

Only 3060 costs somewhere affordable. Performs around 2070.

Few days back I sold off my old 2080Super at 37k.

All the prices are approx and you might find at lower price in local pc market.

AMD OPTIONS

AMD Build: (Ultra CPU and Overclock friendly)

CPU= Amd Ryzen 9 5900X Processor - 38000 INR (abit more future proof plus it has the 12 cores/24 threads vs the 8cores/16 threads in 5800x, a better processor for editing and future gaming)

MOBO= MSI MPG X570 Gaming Plus - 18500 INR / ASUS TUF Gaming X570-Plus - 18500 INR

RAM= G.Skill Trident Z Neo 32GB (16GBx2) DDR4 3200MHz RGB - 13000 INR (NEO version is AMD optimized, don't get NEO for intel build)

AMD Build: (Non Overclock build)

CPU= Amd Ryzen 7 5800X Processor - 31000 INR

MOBO= ASUS TUF Gaming B550 PLUS Motherboard - 14500-15000 INR / Gigabyte B550 Aorus Elite Motherboard - 14000-14500 INR

RAM= G.Skill Trident Z Neo 32GB (16GBx2) DDR4 3200MHz RGB - 13000 INR (NEO version is AMD optimized, don't get NEO for intel build)

INTEL OPTIONS

INTEL Build: (Ultra CPU and OC friendly)

CPU= Intel Core I9-11900K Processor - 34500-35000 INR (sadly unlike 10 series i9, 11 series i9 doesnt have 10 cores 20 threads...11 series only have 8cores/16threads....)

MOBO= GIGABYTE Z590 UD AC LGA1200 ATX MOTHERBOARD - 18500 INR / MSI MAG Z590 Torpedo Motherboard - 17500 INR

RAM= G.Skill Trident Z RGB 32GB (16GBx2) DDR4 3200MHz - 13000 INR

INTEL Build: (Non Overclock build)

CPU= Intel Core I7-11700K Processor - 28000 INR

MOBO= ASUS TUF GAMING B560-PLUS WIFI LGA 1200 ATX MOTHERBOARD - 15500 INR

RAM= G.Skill Trident Z RGB 32GB (16GBx2) DDR4 3200MHz - 13000 INR

Common Parts:

GPU= Zotac RTX 3060 Twin Edge 12GB - 41000 INR (GPU pricing is sooo bad right even now, although getting normal, but still finding 3070 Founder's Edition from RPTech at 44500 INR isn't possible...but still try to get 3070 from RPTech...actual price is 44500. And it's much, much more powerful than 3060) :(

*some added detail for your convenience....

3060ti = 2080super (performance equivalence...but 2080Super is 5% faster than that) Costs around 54k-63k

3070= 2080ti (2080ti is 4% faster) ...costs around 70k to 80k... where the 3070 FE's actual MRP is 44500.

So I dunno man....pains me to suggest.

Only 3060 costs somewhere affordable. Performs around 2070.

CPU COOLER= COOLER MASTER MasterLiquid ML240L ARGB V2 CPU Liquid Cooler - 6500-6800 INR

PSU= Deepcool DQ750-M-V2L 80 Plus Gold SMPS (Black) - 7200 INR

CABINET= Lian Li Lancool 215 ARGB Cabinet (Black) - 6700 INR

SSD= Samsung 970 EVO Plus 500GB NVMe M.2 SSD -6500 INR (For windows install, games)

HDD= Western Digital Blue 2TB 7200 RPM - 4300-4500 INR (Because as you said you will work with video editing, stream and all, thus you require bigger storage, and 2TB SSD will cost a bomb)

MONITOR= Lots of options are there.... But look for 2560x1440 (2k) with 144hz IPS panels. 27 inch. LG Monitors are great, so are Asus. Basically, this is personal preference. But Please, minimum 144hz IPS is a must.

KEYBOARD & MOUSE= Again, upto you...this given system is RGB so try to get RGB keyboard and mouse to complete the aesthetic. Plus as you going to stream, you need some bling here as well.

But mechanical RGB keyboards are gonna cost alot...so you can go for RGB Membrane Keyboard for time being. Look for Corsair K55, Asus TUF Gaming K1 RGB, these are minimum good quality RGB keyboard.
If not RGB keyboard then get a logitech standard keyboard for time being. Later upgrade.

Or you can get RGB Mouse Keyboard combo. Such as Cooler Master Devastator III RGB at around 2800-3000. (although the quality of the keyboard won't be like the suggested keyboard above this line)
Completely personalized choice....but only get Corsair, Logitech, HyperX, Coolermaster, Asus etc. Don't consider chinese brands for keyboard. Could consider wireless combo from Logitech, but they are not RGB. And RGB wireless mice from good brands are costly.

For mouse, you wanna get Logitech, steelseries, razer, Glorious or any other good quality mouse that fits your requirement and budget.

Speaker= This is on your own. Because a good speaker will cost alot. Logitech speakers are standard, but browse some more. I wouldn't suggest any because this is very subjective. Plus you need headphone for streaming....so  for headphone go for HyperX Cloud Stinger if you are tight on budget.

Approx cost (excluding monitor,keyboard, mouse and speaker)

AMD Build: (Ultra CPU and Overclock friendly) - 141700

AMD Build: (Non Overclock build) - 130700

INTEL Build: (Ultra CPU and OC friendly) - 137200

INTEL Build: (Non Overclock build) -  128700

You can reduce some budget from these builds by reducing ram to 16gb or in storage department. Also, the GPU market is very tough right now with lack of units.  GPUs are still upgradable later...but processors aren't due to platform so don't compromise on CPU. Don't consider i5 or Ryzen 5 based upon your requirement.

This terrific and most informative post should be pinned

The dudes CPU suggestions are too high end, my opinion is you should get RTX 3060 TI and a CPU like i5 12600 or max the i7 he suggested, non-OC, i5 has 6 cores 12 thread, i7 has 8 cores 16 threads, same as the current gen consoles.

He's right from the future proofing angle tho, because you'll upgrade the CPU much later, like what CPU you buy now should last you for 5-7 years, so the i7 will be better if you have the budget

For monitors :-

BenQ EX2780Q or LG 27GL850

both are 27" 1440p 144hz IPS panel monitors with 2x hdmi and 1x DP on the back, with 1x 3.5mm audio out

 The BenQ one has inbuilt speakers and 1x usbc with display port input( useful if like you want to connect a macbook to monitor )

BenQ going for 30k now :- https://www.amazon.in/BenQ-EX2780Q-Monitor-Channel-Metallic/dp/B07X8HBHJP

LG GL850 going for 33k :- https://www.amazon.in/LG-Ultragear-27-inch-Compatible-Monitor/dp/B07TD94TQF

Both these monitors hover in price between 30-35k online

As an addition, both can take in a 4k signal and display it to 1440p, useful if you connect a PS5

High because of his requirement of video editing/ streaming. That process eats cpu cores like breakfast.

also, CPU is the only thing which is very hard to upgrade because ur ram and mobo will be dependant on it (thanks to new socket and chipset every gen almost, specifically now when ddr5 is coming on amd and already came on intel 12th gen)  So one time good investment on cpu goes a long way.

Trust me, I would be more than happy to suggest him 3070 or above in normal situation. But current GPU market isn't normal!

Unless you getting actual MRP from RPTech, I would wholeheartedly suggest 3070, 3070Ti or 3080. Imagine 63k price for 3080 from RPTech vs the 63k for 3060ti from Market right now. That's bullshit pricing tbh.

I had gotten rptechs offer to buy 3080ti and mrsp. Gave it up because I’m already running a 3080 build.

There's a big batch of 3080Ti arrived. But due to being a costly card, not many gonna buy it. Previously scalpers and miners were picking it up...but as mining crashed and not being that profitable now, there's not much demand for Card like that. I only gotten it at the start of this month in this drop.

But for cards like 3070, 3070ti and 3080...the list were pretty long due to their amazing pricing, low supply high demand from gamers.

SCL gaming is giving Zotac 3080 for 80k with entire build. Prices of 3070 and 3070Ti are 60k and 70k but these are all with builds. Without the build, there is prices gap of 2000 to 2500 bucks.

6700 XT is now selling from 60k onwards, so it is a bit better scenario than before but it should come down further with the next gen GPU launch around the corner.

I personally see 5900x or 12700k as better CPU, from both gaming/streaming and workstation perspective.

ikr it's bullshit but RPTech queues are far too long, primeabgb had an Asus 3070 for a good price couple of weeks back but that's OOS now, these kind of good price deals are very rare now.

You should have got it.. did you keep the last 3080 from RP tech ?

3080 TI performance is close to 3090.. so could have easily sold the last one and got a crazy upgrade..

Yea I kept the 3080 and passed on this one. I think I had spent enough and didn’t want incremental benefits.

I just checked the latest prices, I feel currently the best value is 3060 12GB for 40k. None of the other cards seem worth the current prices.
