Yeah! There is a demand for nVidia cards in India. And through that demand they can set whatever price they want to, more, less, equal.

 

Even if the RX480 was a better card between the two, moving stock of the same would have been an uphill battle vis-á-vis the nVidia GPU.

 

And on the point of price gouging, nVidia press release states an MSRP of ~22,999/- for a GTX1060, only the base version from ZOTAC! is retailing at that price, it is higher for their own custom version (~25,000/-) and MSi Twin Frozr will be retailing at ~26,000/-.

The cost for a GTX1060 would be nominally ~25,000/- by the end of September. I expect the AMD RX480 (8GB) to settle in the same price band as well in that time span although the MSRP is ~28,000/-.

 

The RX480 power draw issues have been sorted.

And warranty? Zotac offers 3 or 5 years warranty.?

2 + 3(extended) . Still i will say to avoid zotac and get Asus .

Zodka or other regulars, ELI5 how to capture benchmarks. Is there a standard tool most of you use?
