Galax GeForce GT 1030 EXOC White which comes overclocked out of the box. According to new reports, the GPU will feature 2GB GDDR5 memory and 64-bit memory bandwidth. It is based on the 16nm GP108 GPU. It has 384 CUDA cores instead of 512, which we previously heard from sources.

The GPU operates at a 1252 MHz base clock and 1506 MHz boost clock. Reports claim that the GPU will cost 80 Euros which I think will translate to $80 in the US.

Should be a good upgrade from GT 730 if i can get this for not more than 5k.Bought my 730 for 4.4k so 5k is about right for this.Launch price will be quite higher but in about 6 months it should be available for around 5000 rupees.

Performance estimate puts it somewhere between R7 250X(HD7770) and GTX 750 Non Ti so its actually a capable little card.

Zodka should opt for a RX 580 and pair it with a Ryzen 5 CPU. Even if he finds it hard to believe that AMD cards age well, he will still retain a good resale value over the long run.

I do not expect him to be able to tweak the RX580 to its maximum potential and trust me there is a lot of tweaking required to get the maximum out of Polaris.

And hence he should still choose the RX 580 because it offers better resale value in the long run.

Not in India, if it is not nVidia it ain't gonna sell. Whether we like it or not.

  1. What is the best suited CPU for 1080 Ti?
  2. When will AMD release its 1080 Ti equivalent?

PS: Not upgrading my rig anytime soon, just curious.

Core i7 7700k or Ryzen 1700.

No clue, at the rate things, are going it can be on Tuesday or all the way in June.

LOL buying a graphics card for its resale value. Also 570 offers far better price/perf than 580.Sapphire 570 4GB for 15.5k vs 580 8GB for 23k.

What's wrong with that?

The more expensive a graphics card, the more its resale value will tank when the next gen models come out.

980ti was selling for 60k and now if someone tries to sell it, its not worth more than 30k.

You do not buy the most expensive card for its resale value.

Even mid-range cards suffer from this although to a smaller extent.

RX480 launched at 29k and a few nutcases bought it launch due to the hype and now are crying.

Now the same performance is available for 15.5k in RX570 just 10 months later.

RX570 is the best value right now.Amazing performance for the price.
