Official reveal might happen this June with availability in August.
Volta might make 4k gaming mainstream if it gives similar performance boost compare to it's Pro version

Yeah, We seriously need a 700$ GPU that can do 4K in modern AAA games.

Gtx 1080 already does it but due the insane price increases it impossible to get it under 500$

Yep,,at 4k other than muscle power we will need faster memory for smooth gameplay, Volta should make this happen..I am very sure next console iteration will be 4k minimum

Nvidia's founder Ed cards available at decent pricing.

Most likely stock dumping in the face of new cards arriving by next quarter.

Didn't know you could buy directly from Nvidia in India. Also the prices are very reasonable, much lower than places like mdcomputers and primeagbg. 1060 for 24.5k and 1070 for 33k .

They just started it and the partners are not happy.

Also, models being sold and Founder's Edition so keep that in mind before pulling the trigger.

From various review and tech youtuber what I understand that reference blower style model work well if cabinet does not have sufficient cooling ,it isolate the gpu temp from rest of the cabinet parts..with manual fan speed, we can achieve better gpu cooling while still keeping the fan noise lower

Any info on 1160? How fast it will be compare to 1060? I am expecting 10-15 % improvement

That is if there is sufficient airflow in the chassis or if the ambient temperature is low from the get-go.

If the ambient temperatures are high, the delta is much worse on the blower type design. One solid advantage over the open shroud variants is that the memory and power sub-systems get cooled too.

That should be the uplift going by recent norms.

Yeah..it has it own merits,,it works well in smaller cabby , although user has to find out optimum fan speed to keep gpu at healthy temp.i think this is first time reference models are sold here in India,,Rashi peripherals are providing after sales..not sure how will it performan in Indian atosmphere

TITAN parts are all blower style. No custom shrouds there.
