You are comparing raw numbers.

Ampere Tfs are much more efficient than Turing Tfs. Just like in the case of Navi vs RDNA vs RDNA 2.

 

Certainly more powerful than the numbers represent.

Yeah but still wonder who will spend close to 1.7L rs on a gpu alone. Not to mention the cpu and other parts to make the most of this GPU ain't gonna be cheap either.

Didn't feel poor till I came here. I feel like a homeless person right now. And if I suggest 3070 to the wife I will be a homeless person.

52k for 3070 damn. I remember when 70 series would be 30-35k. This is unaffordable for like 99% of Indian population.

They are not the target audience. People who have 8K setup won't worry about it and will be sold out. 

 

Also, 8K isn't a thing yet. Card is there just to show 8K gaming is possible in future. 

 

Control runs at 10FPS at 8K 3090 without DLSS. 

 

For daily gamer 3060/3070 is more than enough.

I'll have to drop PS5 plans to get one. Now praying that Demon Souls is not a launch or launch window game

As a final year college student, I will stick to my plans of getting a Ps5. Can't spend the whole internship stipend to build a 1.5L pc. Awesome tech though.
