Hi, did you order it? How is it?

I am looking for a monitor as well which will also be used with PS5 and for PC gaming as well (when I obtain 3080, which seems distant though)

Confused between Acer ET322QK and BenQ EW3270U. Or will the 32" be too large?

Or any other recommendations?

Thanks.

Yes, I bought it. It's decent but the HDR sucks with sub 300 nits brightness. Although my objective was to get a display that's 32" and is 4K, so HDR wasn't a need but a good to have.

It's a native 10-bit panel and is freesync compatible, and supports Gsync. Best to use DP 1.4 for best output on PC else the aforementioned features will not work (HDMI2.0 will run the monitor on RGB 8-bit and G-Sync won't work).

4K output is really good and it's important to play around with the settings to get the desired colour output. The stock colour settings are lame. Calibration is useful.

I am using with my PC, Xbox Series S, Apple TV, and also tried connecting my macbook and office laptop via the USB-C port of the monitor. Waiting for PS5. This display is good at this price.

Don't go for the Acer one, it has DP 1.2. Also, I don't have a very positive opinion about Acer's products. But that's just me. If you have the moolah, check the IPS varient EW3280U (60k).

I've 32" monitor, but a 2k/144Hz monitor from LG.  Size-wise, I really feel 27" is the best for monitors, 32" is too big for doing day-day work and I've to keep moving my head from one side of the screen to the other.  I think for games its fine as I mostly play with controller 2 feet away from the screen.  But if planning to use it with kb+mouse (which means I would be within inches from the screen), I believe I would get a neck pain moving my head constantly to see what's happening on the screen.  Also, resolution wise - I feel 27" is best suited for 2k display and for 4k  32" is better.

PS: Also, I read that HDR on monitors is very nascent feature and I feel that if one's really interested in HDR + 4k and wants to use it for gaming, and is fine with 60Hz refresh rate, better invest in a 4k TV !

2k 144hz is the sweet spot at the moment. The next upgrade would be 4K at 144hz but I don’t think there is a single card in the market that can push 4K at 144hz.

32" is too large for "work" tasks like MS office suite, coding etc.

For gaming , movie watching etc it is ok.

If you have space in your room just get some 43inch 4K TV, and get a 27" 1440p monitor, should come at around 65k for both..

Atleast that's what I play for my PC and PS5 in the future.

Movies also look best on big screen.

32" really isn't that big. But yeah it varies from person to person what size would suit them best. For me, anything lower than dual 32" is a big problem for my productivity.

What may cause an issue with big monitors is if you sit too close to it and/or have a weird angle to the monitors because of some reason. In my setup eyes are around 1.5-2ft away from my monitors and at the perfect eye level as well due to the adjustable desk.

I made the mistake last year when I bought a Samsung 27" QHD 144 hz VA. I don't work on my PC, the monitor was for gaming on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. But I don't play FPS games or any battle royal so high refresh rate monitor was pointless.

32 inch isn't big at all. Entertainment perspective only. Invest in the right size.
